Savannah's water comes from the City of Savannah, drawn from both the Savannah River (surface water) and the Floridan Aquifer (groundwater) and blended for many customers. The water is moderately hard, making softeners and filtration worthwhile, sometimes with a sulfur or mineral note from the aquifer.
