Kelly Day

Excellent Service! Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was fantastic! They arrived the same day, right on time, and were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Matt took the time to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to find solutions that worked best for me. I truly appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be using their services from now on!

My wife and I had a great experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! Their technician Brett took great care of us—he was funny, sincere, and extremely professional. We really appreciated his honest opinion and expertise in helping us fix our master bathroom shower. The customer service was top-notch, and now our shower works better than ever. My wife’s thrilled… and honestly, it’s so hot now it just about burns my skin off! 😂 Highly recommend Brett and the Benjamin Franklin team for anyone needing plumbing done right the first time.

steven alvarez

We had a huge mess with the master bath. Mike came in on a Sunday for us (thats was so nice), no-one else would. He was EXTREMELY professional and nice. He handled the issue and explained a lot to us (he didn't have to do that). I was so relieved about the whole experience. Another kicker is that he had no intention of nickel and diming us for a Sunday call. If you ever need a plumber, please call this company and hopefully, you will get Mike. I'm beyond satisfied and I will NEVER use a different company.

Rebecca Myers

This repair experience was very good. Travis explained everything before he started. Everyone involved was very friendly and did a great job. The cost was half the price of the other quotes I got. Highly reccomend.

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Indianapolis water heater?

To keep your water heater running smoothly in Indianapolis, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.

How do I know if I need a Indianapolis plumber for my home's low water pressure?

If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Indianapolis home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Indianapolis to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.

Do you offer emergency plumbing service in Indianapolis?

We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.

How often should I schedule drain cleaning for my Indianapolis property?

For most homes in Indianapolis, scheduling professional drain cleaning once a year helps prevent clogs, odors, and costly backups. If your property has older pipes, large trees nearby, or frequent slow drains, you may need service more often. Regular maintenance keeps your plumbing flowing smoothly and protects your home from unexpected issues. For most homes in Indianapolis, scheduling professional drain cleaning once a year helps prevent clogs, odors, and costly backups. Do you offer plumbing financing in Indianapolis?

We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Indianapolis home?

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Indianapolis home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.

What are common plumbing issues in older Indianapolis homes?

Older homes in Indianapolis often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Indianapolis?

To get your plumbing ready for winter in Indianapolis, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Indianapolis?

Signs of a damaged sewer line in your IN home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
