Shawn was wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and smart, and I am very grateful for his expertise. I feel very blessed to have such a good caring company. My needs are many but Benjamin Franklin has met all of them perfectly. They will do right by you every time. I highly recommend this company, and especially Shawn. Edit : Installation of Tankless Water Heater and Water Treatment system went smoothly. Shawn did an amazing job. I am so pleased with all the work he's done in my house! Ronnie and Khaden were also involved and they were very competent. Shawn also installed the Micropower Guard on my furnace and a dehumidifier. Excellent service! I'm very pleased. HVAC system installation went very well. Tim, Kyle, Justin and TJ did a great job. I'm very pleased with all of the work done.
First off, after my experience today, if you do not use these guys, you've made a mistake. Shawn Carnes was my technician and he was great, but I would imagine they all are. I had an appointment set for 1pm to 4pm they showed up on the dot, walked around the house to do a visual inspection and came to the door. They introduced themselves and greeted me and immediately put their shoe covers on before entering the house. I had a plumbing concern that I wanted a second opinion on, they diagnosed it at the toilet, under the house and gave clear suggestions on how to address the concern moving forward. They did not push any upcharges or complete any unnecessary services to increase my cost, but they did however lay out all of the options and gave me quotes for services they could offer related to my concern. They were professional, thorough and kind. I hovered over them a majority of the service call and I KNOW that can be frustrating to deal with as a technician, but they did not complain once and completed their work while verbally explaining what they were doing at each step. It was totally a step above anywhere else. I will be having them out to do any and all plumbing and heating needs in the future.
Shawn was professional, thourough and incredibly knowledgeable about plumbing and septic systems. Diagnosed our problem within 15 minutes and fixed it even quicker. Followed up and made sure everything else in the plumbing system was working and let us know what to look out for in the future. Excellent service. Thanks, Shawn!
We hired Ben Franklin and One Hour Plumbing to purchase and install a new water heater for us. The two plumbers that they sent were Shawn and Ronnie. Both of them were friendly, courteous, and extremely conscientious about keeping our condo clean through the staging of the new water heater, the installation, and the removal of the old water heater. This was on top of being great plumbers who breezed through the removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one, especially considering the tight cramped space in a condominium. While they were in in the water heater closet, they installed a whole condo water shut off valve for us, which is such a convenient feature to have, instead of being outside, blindly trying to shut the water off to our condo with a three for wrench. The price was really fair for the new water heater and the work to install it. They left the place cleaner than they found it, and shared their expertise in the maintenance of the new water heater while they worked. More pleased I could not have been with Shawn and Ronnie, and with the plumbing company, Ben Franklin and One Hour Plumbing. I recommend them without reservation if you require plumbing work done on your home or condo.
