Walburg is a small, historic community in Williamson County, northeast of Georgetown. It is known for its German heritage, its landmark biergarten and restaurant, and the surrounding farmland and country homes of the Blackland Prairie. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of North Austin is glad to make the drive out to Walburg.
On time, every time: if there's any delay, it's you we pay, $5 a minute up to $300, backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. We're your Williamson County plumbing team, rated 4.8 stars.
Every Walburg home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire North Austin and Williamson County service area, and each service links to the brand page with full details:
Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Walburg homeowners facing burst pipes, severe leaks, sewer backups, water heater failures, and slab leaks. We are available day or night, weekends and holidays.
Water softeners, filtration, and treatment plus well and pressure-tank service for the many rural Williamson County homes on private wells. Central Texas well water runs very hard and can carry iron and bacteria, so we test the water and install the right softener, filtration, and treatment.
We offer slab leak detection and repair and whole-home leak detection. Most Walburg homes sit on concrete slabs, and Central Texas's expansive clay shifts with wet/dry cycles, stressing the pipes beneath the slab. We pinpoint hidden leaks with advanced equipment and repair them before they undermine your foundation.
We can help with water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems. Hard-water scale shortens heater life here (and many are in attics, where a failure floods the ceiling below), so flushing, replacement, and energy-efficient tankless upgrades are popular. Ask about our current tankless and water-heater offers.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping, for older Walburg homes with aging or corroded pipe, and for leaking pipe and water line repair and replacement, in durable modern materials like PEX.
We also offer frozen pipe service. Central Texas mostly stays mild, but a hard freeze (like February 2021) can burst exposed and attic pipes. We thaw, repair, and help you protect vulnerable lines before the next cold snap.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, scale, and the roots that invade lines under Central Texas's mature shade trees.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless sewers, diagnosing odors, slow drains, and yard wet-spots and restoring sewer lines, including the cast iron in older homes, often without digging up the whole yard.
Plumbing installation and repair, in some of the fastest-growing communities in Texas. We handle fixture upgrades, remodels, and installations, from faucets and sinks to toilets, showers, and garbage disposals.
Gas line installation and repair for water heaters, ranges, pool heaters, fireplaces, generators, and outdoor kitchens, plus outdoor plumbing and hose bibs built for the Texas heat.
Commercial plumbing service for the shops, offices, restaurants, and businesses growing across Walburg and the greater Austin area.
Walburg's rural setting shapes its plumbing. Many homes here are on private wells and septic systems. Well and pressure-tank service, well-water treatment (Central Texas well water runs very hard and can carry iron and bacteria, calling for softening and multi-stage filtration), and septic-aware drain and sewer service are core, everyday needs. Its farmhouses and country homes may have aging pipe worth repiping. Homes on concrete slabs over the expansive Blackland clay still see slab leaks and foundation movement.
Walburg homes are built on concrete slabs over expansive Blackland clay, as Central Texas makes standard, not basements. Slab-leak detection and foundation watering matter, alongside well and septic service. Summers are long and hot. Winters are mild but bring occasional hard freezes that burst exposed pipes and stress outbuildings and long service runs.
Walburg's rural homes get our full range. We offer well-water treatment and softening, well and pressure-tank service, septic-aware drain and sewer work, slab leak detection, repiping, water heater and tankless service, gas lines, and frozen-pipe service, all from a stocked truck that finishes most jobs in one trip, which matters out in the country.
We're the punctual plumbers. “If there's any delay, it's you we pay!” If we're not on time, we pay you $5 for every minute we're late, up to 60 minutes or $300. See our guarantees.
Austin-area homeowners rate us 4.8 stars across more than 1,300 reviews. They praise plumbers like Timothy, Scott, Mickey, and Dave who arrive on time, explain the work clearly, protect the home, and get it done right.
Ask about our current offers, including money off tankless water heaters, water softeners, and softener-plus-filtration systems, and off any service or repair, perfect for Central Texas's hard-water homes.
We are locally owned and operated, serving the greater Austin area from Cedar Park. We have the tools and resources of a national brand named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024, the best of both worlds.
Our technicians explain the problem and give upfront pricing before any work begins, no hidden fees, backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Financing and a Club Membership are available.
From very hard limestone water and Blackland-clay slab leaks to new-construction plumbing and tankless upgrades, we know the plumbing challenges of fast-growing Walburg.
We are fully licensed (Texas RMP license #M15007) and insured, with well-stocked trucks and plumbers answering the phone around the clock, so most jobs are finished in a single visit.
Walburg plumbing follows the Central Texas calendar. Test the well water and service the pump, pressure tank, and treatment. Service the septic. In dry spells, water the foundation evenly. Before a hard freeze, insulate exposed pipes and protect outbuildings. Flush the water heater against sediment and scale.

Made appointment to pinpoint leak in shower head. Turned out it was the valve which needed replacing. Hugo was great. Ordered it and returned the following day to install. He also shared information about flushing out our tankless water heaters and addressing excessive pressure coming into the house. We are checking with the builder before we schedule those additional jobs to see if there is any warranty on our home.
Mark Katzman
Hugo came on time. Fixed problem.

Angi recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with a 5-star rating. Repairman, Wilson did a great job. We had a leak in a waterline in the front yard. Excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a timely manner. Afterwards, he cleaned up the work site and did a safety inspection. I would definitely recommend this company and Wilson 😃

★★★★★ Exceptional service from Ethan and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Lisbon! I called just before closing and they had someone out to my home first thing the next morning. Ethan was fantastic - very polite, professional, and efficient. Pricing was very upfront before any service was provided, so there were no surprises. The job was completed within an hour! Exceptional customer service from start to finish - I also spoke to the office manager and everybody was very polite. It’s GREAT to have and know this company is serving the North Country! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We were very blessed to have such an expert as Mike come to our house to troubleshoot our hot water heater. The man is a consummate professional, has decades of experience, knew exactly what he was doing, did what he needed to do, and we couldn't be more pleased to have had this absolute expert come to evaluate our water heater. As soon as we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He'll be back in 2 days to replace the hot water heater. Thank you so much!

Great! Andrew was friendly and knowledgeable. Came out an hour after I called and got my water line fixed up. He also let me know how to protect it from future problems. I'm a happy customer
Justin Faulkner
Great communication when trying to schedule and when in route. Answered my questions and explained options before starting. Completed the work, verified it was fixed and cleaned the area when he was done. (Kitchen sink clog - more than 25’ from the sink)
William Whitehouse
Justin did a great job unclogging my kitchen sink. I tried to do it myself and evidently it went up the vent at the T instead of going down into the clog. Hopefully it will not clogged again but if it does and I can't get it I will be calling again. This is the 2nd time I've used Ben Franklin Plumbing and am happy the the fast response and courtesy of the plumbers. I recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing to anyone I know needing a plumber.
