Technician was on time and professional. Juan explained what he was going to do and what would have to be done if the first procedure did not work. He also stated the price up front. He worked quickly and efficiently. The company sends texts to keep you updated and includes the picture of the tech. Reasonable for a Saturday.

David with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did an outstanding job fixing a sink leak at one of our renovation properties. He was professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The repair was done right the first time, which is critical when we’re on a tight timeline preparing a home for market. At Rapid Close Realty, we work with a lot of trades during our fix-and-flip and cash-offer projects, and David absolutely delivered. Highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and will definitely use them again on future properties.

A.J. (Andrew) with Benjamin Franklin conducted a thorough, professional inspection of the plumbing for a home we are buying in Siloam Springs. He provided a comprehensive, understandable explanation of the entire plumbing system from faucets to sewage and gave us a clear analysis of items needing immediate attention, those that can wait, and those that were functioning well. He followed up with a thorough cost analysis and timeline for repairs. A.J. was extremely courteous, trustworthy, and respectful throughout the entire time. He was very patient in answering all of our questions. We did not hesitate to contract with Benjamin Franklin to make the repairs as suggested. Definitely call them!

Alie Joseph did an excellent job fixing my toilet. He was thorough, showed me what was wrong, and even cleaned up after himself! I have already planned future jobs with him. My Papaw built this house in 1979. He always used Benjamin Franklin for his plumbing jobs. He said they were the best and they came back and proved it today. Everyone at the company was excellent. The lady who called me to schedule last night was so friendly. The lady who called me this morning was kind, and Alie was very friendly and kind. He was so knowledgeable about all aspects of home plumbing.

I had blocked pipes that I was unable to clear. My plumber thoroughly investigated the issue and determined that I had roots growing into the pipes causing blockage. He kept me informed during his investigation, provided me with pictures and clearly explained both what repairs were needed and what my options were. He gave me three prices / options to resolve the issue and there was no “hard sell” at any time. This is a bigger repair than I had hoped for, but I believe I am being treated fairly.

Phenomenal First Experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The lovely lady in the office was so patient and accommodating for me with my work schedule and some issues that were discovered prior. The tech arrived on time. Was friendly and thorough. He explained everything to us, what was needed, etc. and gave us options. Great experience.

Gustavo Rocha came out to help us with a pipe over the water heater that was leaking. He let us know that it wasn't just the pipe that had issues but the water heater itself (it was 20 years old and we knew it was on its way out). He was such a huge help in explaining everything to us and helping us to make the decision to have it replaced. Gustavo knows his stuff and was so kind and patient with all our questions and concerns. He has many years of experience and is an absolute pleasure to work with. If we ever need a plumber he's who I am calling (at least until he retires). Thank you Gustavo for doing such a wonderful job replacing our filter. The water pressure and heat is a very refreshing change! You are the best!

We had several sewage backups over Christmas, including while we had a house full of company. David Allen arrived quickly due to our emergency situations and fixed each issue, even working with the office to get us the best prices possible. He was knowledgable, sympathetic, and kept us informed. Highly recommend.
Stop running water to that fixture, then try a plunger if it is a sink, tub, or shower. Skip harsh chemicals since they can damage pipes and make a clog harder to remove. If the backup keeps coming back, a plumber can clear the line and confirm there is not a deeper blockage.
If only one sink is slow and other drains are fine, it is often close to the fixture, like the P-trap or the branch line. If you remove and clean the P-trap and the sink is still slow, the clog is likely farther down and may need professional tools to clear it fully.
Snaking is designed to break through or pull out a blockage, but it may leave residue on the pipe walls. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to wash buildup off the inside of the pipe, which can be helpful for heavy grease, sludge, or recurring buildup. A plumber may recommend a camera check first to choose the safest option for the pipe condition.
A camera inspection is useful when a clog returns quickly, when clearing only works for a short time, or when you want to confirm what is actually causing the slowdown. It can pinpoint buildup, broken sections, or misaligned piping so the fix is targeted instead of guesswork. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Tom Bean can use camera inspections to help identify the cause before repairs.
Yes. Mineral scale from hard water can gradually narrow sections of piping and catch soap scum and debris more easily, especially in bathroom drains. If you notice frequent buildup and slower draining even after basic cleaning, a plumber can recommend a cleaning method that removes scale safely and helps reduce repeat clogs.
Avoid pouring grease, oil, and fatty food scraps down the drain, even with hot water. Starchy foods like rice and pasta can swell, and coffee grounds tend to collect and form a dense sludge. Using a sink strainer and wiping greasy pans before washing can make a big difference.
Run cold water before and after using the disposal, feed small amounts at a time, and avoid fibrous items like celery, corn husks, or onion skins that can tangle. Eggshells and stringy peels can also build up in the line. If clogs happen often, it may be a drain issue beyond the disposal and worth a professional look in the Tom Bean area.
