Oklahoma City is the sprawling capital of the state and the heart of our service area. It's also home to our shop on South Portland Avenue, and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Oklahoma City is the locally based, on-time team the city counts on.
We carry one of the most trusted names in American plumbing, a brand named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024, but the people answering your call are your neighbors. We're The Punctual Plumber, and we back it with a promise no ordinary plumber makes. If we're not on time, we pay you $5 a minute, up to $300.

Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Oklahoma City homeowners facing slab leaks, burst or frozen pipes, sewer backups, well-pump failures, or no-water situations. We are available day or night, weekends and holidays, with no after-hours fees.
Expert diagnosis and repair of leaks, fixtures, and supply problems, backed by professional inspection and diagnosis. Our plumbers are trained to resolve up to 90% of issues on the first visit.
We offer non-destructive leak detection and leak repair. Central Oklahoma's expansive red clay shifts slab foundations and the pipes within them, and we pinpoint slab and hidden leaks before we cut into anything.
Water softeners and filtration for the very hard water common across the OKC metro. It protects water heaters, fixtures, and appliances from scale, and treating the hard, sometimes arsenic- or iron-bearing well water many rural homes rely on.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, tankless systems, and boiler service, with the annual flushing hard water demands to clear sediment and scale.
Gas line installation and repair for water heaters, furnaces, ranges, outdoor grills, and fire pits, installed and tested safely by licensed professionals.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, scale, and the tree roots that reach into lines shifted by the area's expansive clay.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless options for root intrusion and aging laterals broken by shifting clay, often with minimal digging in a landscaped yard.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping for aging galvanized and cast-iron systems, plus water service line and frozen pipe repair after hard freezes.
Well pump repair and replacement and pressure-tank service for the many homes on the metro's rural edges that rely on private wells drawing the Garber-Wellington Aquifer.
Sump and water pump service, outdoor plumbing, and faucet, toilet, shower, bathtub, and garbage disposal repair and installation.
Commercial plumbing service for the OKC metro's offices, restaurants, retail, and light-industrial properties.
Oklahoma City's water comes from surface reservoirs. These reservoirs include Lakes Hefner, Overholser, and Draper, fed from Canton, Atoka, and McGee Creek, and picks up calcium and gypsum from Oklahoma's limestone geology, leaving it very hard. That means scale on every faucet and shower door, water heaters that fail years early, and pinhole leaks in aging pipe. A properly sized softener is among the most valuable upgrades most OKC homeowners can make. The city's vast footprint holds everything from century-old homes near downtown, where galvanized, cast-iron, and lead-era pipe may warrant repiping, to sprawling new suburbs.
OKC's defining structural factor is the ground beneath it. Central Oklahoma's expansive red clay shrinks and swells with the wet-dry cycles, shifting the concrete slab foundations most homes are built on and the pipes within them. Slab leaks and the non-destructive detection that finds them are among our most common calls. The same shifting clay and the city's mature trees break and clog sewer lines, making hydro jetting and trenchless repair frequent. Occasional hard freezes, like the February 2021 storm, threaten exposed pipes. Gas is common for heating and cooking. OKC's offices, restaurants, and industry rely on commercial plumbing.
As the hometown team, we know OKC's water, its historic homes, and its clay ground. We offer softeners and treatment, slab leak detection, repiping and trenchless sewer work, gas line and boiler service, and commercial plumbing across the metro. Our stocked trucks resolve most calls on the first visit.
If we're not on time, we pay you $5 for every minute we're late, up to 60 minutes or $300. See our guarantees.

Oklahoma City plumbing follows the central Oklahoma calendar. Watch year-round for slab leaks as the clay shifts. Flush the water heater yearly for the very hard water. Before a hard freeze, insulate exposed pipes and hose bibs and know your main shut-off. Have older sewer lines checked for roots.

Made appointment to pinpoint leak in shower head. Turned out it was the valve which needed replacing. Hugo was great. Ordered it and returned the following day to install. He also shared information about flushing out our tankless water heaters and addressing excessive pressure coming into the house. We are checking with the builder before we schedule those additional jobs to see if there is any warranty on our home.
Mark Katzman
Hugo came on time. Fixed problem.

Angi recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with a 5-star rating. Repairman, Wilson did a great job. We had a leak in a waterline in the front yard. Excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a timely manner. Afterwards, he cleaned up the work site and did a safety inspection. I would definitely recommend this company and Wilson 😃

★★★★★ Exceptional service from Ethan and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Lisbon! I called just before closing and they had someone out to my home first thing the next morning. Ethan was fantastic - very polite, professional, and efficient. Pricing was very upfront before any service was provided, so there were no surprises. The job was completed within an hour! Exceptional customer service from start to finish - I also spoke to the office manager and everybody was very polite. It’s GREAT to have and know this company is serving the North Country! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We were very blessed to have such an expert as Mike come to our house to troubleshoot our hot water heater. The man is a consummate professional, has decades of experience, knew exactly what he was doing, did what he needed to do, and we couldn't be more pleased to have had this absolute expert come to evaluate our water heater. As soon as we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He'll be back in 2 days to replace the hot water heater. Thank you so much!

Great! Andrew was friendly and knowledgeable. Came out an hour after I called and got my water line fixed up. He also let me know how to protect it from future problems. I'm a happy customer
Justin Faulkner
Great communication when trying to schedule and when in route. Answered my questions and explained options before starting. Completed the work, verified it was fixed and cleaned the area when he was done. (Kitchen sink clog - more than 25’ from the sink)

Justin did a great job unclogging my kitchen sink. I tried to do it myself and evidently it went up the vent at the T instead of going down into the clog. Hopefully it will not clogged again but if it does and I can't get it I will be calling again. This is the 2nd time I've used Ben Franklin Plumbing and am happy the the fast response and courtesy of the plumbers. I recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing to anyone I know needing a plumber.

If it has corroding galvanized, cast-iron, or lead-era pipe, repiping is a lasting fix. We inspect for rusty water, low pressure, and recurring leaks and recommend honestly.
