Named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024!
Norwalk may be home to landmarks like the Hargitt House Museum and the beautiful Norwalk Civic Center, but for homeowners here, it’s what’s happening inside the walls that often goes unnoticed…until there’s a problem. Hidden water leaks have a way of creeping in quietly and causing major headaches: warped floors, rising water bills, mysterious mold, or that dreaded musty smell you just can’t trace.
If you think something’s off but can’t quite put your finger on it, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Long Beach is here to help. We’ve worked in homes all across Norwalk, from charming older houses on Pioneer Blvd to newer builds near Bloomfield, and we know how to spot trouble before it turns costly. With expert tools and experienced technicians, we’ll find the source, fix it fast, and save you from chasing puddles or paying for damage that could’ve been prevented.
When it comes to water leaks, guessing isn’t good enough. You need fast, accurate answers without tearing your house apart in the process. That’s exactly what we deliver.
At Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Long Beach, we bring the right mix of high-tech tools and hands-on experience to every Norwalk home we visit. Whether you’ve got a soft spot in your drywall, a spike in your water bill, or a gut feeling something just isn’t right, we’ll track it down and walk you through the fix.
Here’s why locals trust us:
Leaks are stressful enough. Our job is to make everything after your call feel simple.
Some leaks are loud and obvious, while others quietly cause damage behind the scenes until it’s too late. The tricky ones are often hidden behind walls, under floors, or beneath slabs, slowly wasting water and weakening your home over time.
Here are a few signs that a leak might be lurking out of sight:
If you’re seeing or sensing any of these signs, don’t ignore them. A small leak now can lead to thousands in damage later.
Finding a leak shouldn’t feel like a demolition project and with us, it doesn’t. At Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Long Beach, we use advanced, non-invasive technology to locate leaks with precision. No wild guesses, no tearing up floors just to “take a look.” Our process is designed to save you time, stress, and money, because knowing where the leak is matters just as much as fixing it.
Here’s how it works:
We believe in fixing problems at the root, not just patching them up. When we leave, your home will be dry, safe, and leak-free, just the way it should be.

Francisco and Joe did an amazing job. As a new home owner I was a bit overwhelmed with everything that needed to be done. Francisco went above and beyond for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and developed a plan that was right for us. Customer service 10 out of 10. Execution of fixing my issues 10 out of 10. Everything was great. Really appreciated Francisco helping me out. Would definitely recommend him and Ben Franklin to anyone else!

Jade came out on July 3rd because our water heater was leaking. Very professional and informative. We decided we wanted to replace the water heater and get a water softener installed. Sent a text to him Thursday night saying we changed our mind about the water softener. Jade arrived on Saturday and we told him we changed our mind again. No frustration from Jade. Just okay I got you. Even though he had to run back to the shop to get a softener. He was great during the whole installation and kept us up to date on the progress. Highly recommend Northern Ben Franklin, especially Jade.

WOW! If there ever comes the time that you need professional plumbing repairs or plumbing service of any type, I would enthusiastically endorse Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I have found plumbing issues are always emergencies, very seldom routine, and each and everytime I call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and a live dispatch professional picks up my call, completes a triage of my issue and schedules right then a professional plumber to race to my home for repairs. They have super talented plumbers and Paul and Noah responded to this call for assistance and were fantastic. They figured out what my issue was, actually had the parts required on their truck to do the job and immediately went to work and repaired my issue! They cleaned up their work area and were very respectful to my wife! Please consider Benjamin Franklin Plumbers, especially Paul and Noah anytime you need this professional service. 5 star all across the job! Thank you!

Had an emergency over a holiday weekend, and no other company was available or even answered their phone. From the first person I spoke to on the phone, everyone communicated very clearly and attempted to help me out. Steve M.came out and was outstanding. He quickly assessed the issue and then got me up and running again. Steve was smart, explained everything he was doing, and was also just an all around funny and nice guy!

Our water heater went up on July 3rd, and Patrick was out there that afternoon to assess and give us a game plan. He came out again the Saturday the 5th to install a new electric heater to replace the old propane one. Very helpful, courteous, answered some other questions we had, as we just moved in 6 weeks ago. Prompt, knowledgeable And didn't try to sell you anything you didn't need. I'd recommend Patrick and this company to my friends and family if they come across a similar situation.

On a recommendation from our builder, we started using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and couldn’t be happier. Matt Thrift just replaced our 18-year old tankless hot water heater and was prompt, courteous and professional. They kept us informed throughout the entire process.
