Moss Bluff is a rural community in Liberty County near the Trinity River, a country area of acreage, woods, and farmland between Liberty and Dayton. It's country living, and country plumbing: exactly what Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Baytown and Dayton is built to handle.
We bring big-league service to this rural community, on time and guaranteed: if there's any delay, it's you we pay.
Every Moss Bluff home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire Baytown and Dayton service area, and each service links to the national brand page with full details:
Moss Bluff's rural setting means most homes rely on private Gulf Coast Aquifer wells and septic systems. Well-pump and pressure-tank service is a core local need, and the area's groundwater is often hard and can carry iron or a sulfur odor. Treatment after a water test is among the most-requested work to protect pipes and fixtures and improve taste and smell.
Septic is the norm on Moss Bluff's larger lots, shaping our approach to drain and waste-line issues. Homes range from older farmhouses to newer rural builds and manufactured homes. The expansive clay soil can shift slabs and cause slab leaks, the low ground near the Trinity River brings flood risk in heavy rain, and the occasional hard freeze can burst exposed pipes far from town.

Rural homes deserve prompt, professional plumbing. That's our promise to Moss Bluff: well and septic expertise, treatment for hard and iron- or sulfur-bearing water, and slab leak detection. Our stocked trucks finish most jobs in one trip, which matters out here.
Country homeownership rewards routine. Test your well water periodically and keep treatment and the pressure tank maintained. If you're on septic, mind what enters the system. Before storm season, check drainage near the river. Before winter, protect exposed pipes from the occasional hard freeze.

Very pleased with the service we received today from this new business! Called and Logan arrived within an hour to convert furnace from nature gas to propane. Very pleasant, completed work in an appropriate time frame at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be comfortable using this company again.

Hugo arrived at my house within the window of time I was expecting which was helpful. I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He gave me several options including an option to finance the replacement of my hot water heater. In short, he was kind, courteous and professional.

I needed my 12-year-old water heater replaced soon and requested seven estimates. Two gave a verbal quote over the phone without seeing the job. I was not sure what I was getting or if they would add additional charges after they got the job. One was going to bring a water heater with them to replace it during the estimate process. One gave written quote that stated a price and description of “replace 50 gal water heater”. There were no details on the work to be completed. Benjiman Franklin Plumping’s estimate was the most complete on the work to be performed. Davy noticed issues with the current installation that was not to code that others missed. He spent the time explaining and answering my questions so I could understand what and why items were being done. Davy was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Although they were not the cheapest or the most expensive, they included everything to replace the water heater and bring in up to code within the estimate, with this I gave them the job. The installation was scheduled for the next day, Davy and Wilson arrived on time. The two worked well as a team completing the job beyond my expectations and to my satisfaction. The finished job looked so much better than the original installation. I am sure they are proud to be associated with their work. They cleaned up as they went so no mess was left behind. Job well done. Thanks Davy and Wilson

Brandon helped bring the pressure of our water down because it was way too high and added a filter to our ice maker so we don’t have so many calcifications in our ice! Brandon did a good job and was very nice. He cleaned up after himself and was always friendly. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had!
Most Moss Bluff homes are on private wells and septic. We service well pumps, pressure tanks, treatment, and septic-aware drains.
Yes. That usually means iron, often with hardness and sometimes a sulfur odor. After a water test, we install the right treatment.
Yes. A failed pump means no water, so we prioritize it, diagnosing and repairing or replacing the pump, pressure tank, and switch.
Yes. Expansive clay shifts slabs and stresses the pipes within. We pinpoint slab leaks with non-destructive detection.
Yes, around the clock, every day, even in rural Liberty County, with no after-hours fees.
