Named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024!
Hill Farms is a classic mid-century Madison neighborhood on the west side, a well-kept community of 1950s and 1960s ranches and colonials near the Hilldale area and the UW campus. Its established housing gives Hill Farms a familiar plumbing profile, and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of West Madison is the on-time team residents trust.
On time, every time, if there's any delay, it's you we pay.
Every Hill Farms home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire west Madison service area, and each service links to the national brand page with full details:
Hill Farms' homes date largely to the mid-century, and after decades of service many have aging galvanized water pipe that corrodes and restricts flow, plus original cast-iron drains, so repiping and drain work are common here. Served by Madison's hard deep-well water, the neighborhood benefits from softeners and iron filtration to protect water heaters and fixtures, and water heaters installed over the decades are now aging into replacement.
Like all of Madison, Hill Farms homes have full basements, making sump pumps with battery backup important against snowmelt and spring rains, and the deep-freeze winters make frozen-pipe protection essential. The neighborhood's mature trees can send roots into older sewer laterals, calling for hydro jetting and trenchless repair.

Hill Farms' mid-century homes are exactly our wheelhouse, repiping aging galvanized pipe, replacing cast-iron drains, softeners for the hard water, water heater service, and sump and frozen-pipe protection. We arrive on time, protect your home, and resolve most calls on the first visit.
Hill Farms' mid-century homes reward attention. Before winter, insulate exposed pipes and disconnect hoses; before spring, test the sump pump and its backup. Watch for rusty water and low pressure (signs of aging galvanized pipe), flush the water heater yearly for the hard water, and have older sewer lines checked for roots.

Love the updates! Everything works perfectly!. The family is so thankful for the new complete water pipes lines, the new waterless tank, the toilet tank repair and most of all the new tub and tiles! The sink doesn’t backup anymore and the water taste so so much better! The metal taste is gone! The toilets don’t flush themselves anymore and the rattling of the pipes doesn’t exist anymore! Their master plumber is awesome; he’s worth every penny spent and more! Gerald, Ryan and team did beyond our family expectations! 5 stars

José was very knowledgeable. He verified that the low flow problem with my old faucet was due to the faucet and not in the house plumbing before installing the new faucet that we had bought a couple of days earlier. My wife and I preferred the design of the new faucet, and José eliminated our worry that the new faucet might not fix the low flow problem. The new faucet is leak free and works great.

Christian our house to diagnose an issue. The water department called and said we were losing 1 gallon per minute of water, continuous use. Christian Came twice with one service charge. He discovered That we had two toilets that were each causing continuous usage. Together, the two toilets were equaling A loss of 1 gallon a minute! For a fair price He fixed both toilets And eliminated the issue. He was polite, caring, honest and prompt!

Johnathan has been outstanding so far as still have final phase to go. He grasped concept of what we wanted and helped bring it into reality. Johnathan has communicated well and made sure we understood each step as work has progressed. Also kudos to Zach and Tony for their hard work in getting it done! In a follow up review Johnathan met to check on work done so we could move on to Step 2. Details were discussed, and we are moving to the next phase. Thanks to Johnathan for continuing to work with us and guide our project successfully. Very satisfied to date.

Aaren was very communicative about everything he was going to do. Resolved our issues and very timely. He was also a very polite young man and I appreciated him being very honest dealing and spoke with me about some possible future plumbing work I would like he and his company to do for us. 10/10 would recommend.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Savannah Metro recently completed the plumbing work for our bathroom remodel, and we were very pleased with the results. They re-piped the bathroom efficiently, kept us informed throughout the process, and delivered quality workmanship. The team was professional, respectful of our home, and made the entire process stress-free. We would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services.
Often, yes. After decades, galvanized pipe corrodes and restricts flow, discoloring water. We inspect and recommend repiping in copper or PEX honestly.
Yes. Madison's deep-well water is hard; a softener and iron filtration protect your water heater and fixtures. We test and size it.
Past 10 to 12 years or with frequent repairs, replacement is usually wiser, and many homeowners upgrade to tankless. We give honest, up-front recommendations.
A sump pump with battery backup, good drainage, and a backwater valve guard against snowmelt and spring rains. We assess and install.
Yes, around the clock, every day, with the On-Time Guarantee and no after-hours fees.
