Glenview Manor is a tiny, exclusive residential city tucked among the wooded lanes near Glenview off Brownsboro Road. It's one of the small, gracious home-rule communities that give northeastern Jefferson County its leafy, upscale character. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Eastern Louisville is proud to serve it with prompt, careful, professional plumbing.
On time, every time. If we're not on time, we pay you $5 a minute, up to $300.
Every Glenview Manor home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire eastern Louisville service area, and each service links to the national brand page with full details:
Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Glenview Manor homeowners facing frozen or burst pipes, flooded basements, sewer backups, water heater failures, or no-water situations. We are available day or night, weekends and holidays, with no after-hours fees.
Expert diagnosis and repair of leaks, fixtures, and supply problems, backed by professional inspection and diagnosis. Our plumbers are trained to resolve up to 90% of issues on the first visit.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping for the aging galvanized, cast-iron, and lead-era systems common in this area's older homes, plus water service line and frozen pipe repair.
We offer non-destructive leak detection, leak repair, and pool leak detection, finding hidden leaks in walls, under floors, and in buried lines, protecting the finished space of a fine home before any cutting.
Sump pump installation and repair and water pump service, with backup systems and drainage to guard finished basements against the Ohio River valley's high water table, spring rains, and snowmelt.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, a common upgrade in larger homes with high hot-water demand.
Water softeners and filtration and whole-home systems that refine Louisville's already-excellent Ohio River tap water, cutting scale and improving taste, while a moderate hardness helps protect older pipes.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, buildup, and the tree roots that reach into lines beneath the area's mature canopy.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless options for root intrusion and aging clay and cast-iron laterals, often with minimal digging in a landscaped yard.
Outdoor plumbing, pool pump service, and faucet, toilet, shower, bathtub, and garbage disposal repair and installation.
Commercial plumbing service for the offices, shops, and businesses along the Brownsboro Road and US 42 corridors of eastern Louisville.
Glenview Manor's small collection of established, comfortable homes on shaded lots sets the tone for its plumbing. Where a home carries decades-old galvanized or cast-iron pipe, or a lead-era service line, repiping and line replacement restore both water quality and pressure. Precise, non-destructive leak detection is especially valued here. It finds hidden leaks in walls, under floors, and in buried lines without disturbing finished space or landscaping.
Set in the Ohio River valley like its neighbors, Glenview Manor's homes have full basements where sump pumps, backups, and drainage guard against the water table, spring rains, and snowmelt. Kentucky winters bring hard freezes that threaten exposed pipes. The community's mature canopy sends roots into aging sewer laterals. Louisville's moderately hard Ohio River tap water also invites whole-home filtration to refine taste and control scale.
Glenview Manor's established homes get our full range. We provide precise leak detection, repiping and lead-service-line replacement, sump and basement protection, and whole-home filtration. Our stocked trucks resolve most calls on the first visit, with the discretion a fine neighborhood deserves.
If we're not on time, we pay you $5 for every minute we're late, up to 60 minutes or $300. See our guarantees.
You approve every price before any work begins, no meter running, no surprises. Our customers routinely note our honesty, including turning down work that isn't needed.
We stand behind our materials, labor, and craftsmanship, and eastern Louisville homeowners rate us a perfect 5 stars on Google.
We answer the phone around the clock, every day of the year, with no after-hours fees, vital during a frozen pipe, a flooded basement, or a sewer backup.
Background-checked, drug-tested professionals, licensed in Kentucky (License M7523), with liability coverage and workers' compensation.
Based right here off Taylorsville Road and serving Glenview Manor, supported by a brand named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024.
Club membership with annual safety inspections, leak checks, water heater tune-ups, priority service, and discounts, plus financing options.
Glenview Manor's seasons set the schedule. Watch for hidden leaks and the signs of aging pipe. Test the sump pump ahead of spring rains. Before winter, insulate exposed pipes and disconnect hoses. Flush the water heater yearly, and have older sewer lines checked for roots under the canopy.

Made appointment to pinpoint leak in shower head. Turned out it was the valve which needed replacing. Hugo was great. Ordered it and returned the following day to install. He also shared information about flushing out our tankless water heaters and addressing excessive pressure coming into the house. We are checking with the builder before we schedule those additional jobs to see if there is any warranty on our home.
Mark Katzman
Hugo came on time. Fixed problem.

Angi recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with a 5-star rating. Repairman, Wilson did a great job. We had a leak in a waterline in the front yard. Excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a timely manner. Afterwards, he cleaned up the work site and did a safety inspection. I would definitely recommend this company and Wilson 😃

★★★★★ Exceptional service from Ethan and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Lisbon! I called just before closing and they had someone out to my home first thing the next morning. Ethan was fantastic - very polite, professional, and efficient. Pricing was very upfront before any service was provided, so there were no surprises. The job was completed within an hour! Exceptional customer service from start to finish - I also spoke to the office manager and everybody was very polite. It’s GREAT to have and know this company is serving the North Country! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We were very blessed to have such an expert as Mike come to our house to troubleshoot our hot water heater. The man is a consummate professional, has decades of experience, knew exactly what he was doing, did what he needed to do, and we couldn't be more pleased to have had this absolute expert come to evaluate our water heater. As soon as we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He'll be back in 2 days to replace the hot water heater. Thank you so much!

Great! Andrew was friendly and knowledgeable. Came out an hour after I called and got my water line fixed up. He also let me know how to protect it from future problems. I'm a happy customer
Justin Faulkner
Great communication when trying to schedule and when in route. Answered my questions and explained options before starting. Completed the work, verified it was fixed and cleaned the area when he was done. (Kitchen sink clog - more than 25’ from the sink)
William Whitehouse
Justin did a great job unclogging my kitchen sink. I tried to do it myself and evidently it went up the vent at the T instead of going down into the clog. Hopefully it will not clogged again but if it does and I can't get it I will be calling again. This is the 2nd time I've used Ben Franklin Plumbing and am happy the the fast response and courtesy of the plumbers. I recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing to anyone I know needing a plumber.

Yes. We use non-destructive leak detection to pinpoint leaks in walls, under floors, and in buried lines precisely, protecting finished space before any repair.
If your Glenview Manor home has a lead-era service line, replacement improves safety and water quality. We locate and replace it, and can assess interior piping too.
A properly sized sump pump with battery backup and good drainage guards against the river-valley water table and spring rains. We install, upgrade, and maintain them.
Usually, yes. Low pressure often traces to corroding old pipe; we diagnose and recommend targeted repair or repiping.
