Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Cleburne homeowners facing burst pipes, sewer backups, water heater failures, no-water well problems, and slab leaks, day or night, weekends and holidays.
Slab leak detection and repair and whole-home leak detection, nearly every home here sits on a concrete slab, and North Texas's expansive clay (part of the I-35 clay corridor) swells and shrinks with our wet/dry cycles, stressing the pipes beneath the slab. We pinpoint hidden leaks with acoustic and pressure testing and repair them before they undermine your foundation.
Water softeners, filtration, and treatment for the hard North Texas water that scales fixtures and pipes, corrodes copper, and shortens water heater life, from softeners to whole-home filtration, sized from a water test.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless sewers, many older Fort Worth-area homes have cast-iron drain lines under the slab that corrode and crack at the joints, and we camera-inspect, hydro-jet, and repair or replace them, often without digging up the whole slab.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping, decades of clay movement and hard-water corrosion pinhole aging copper, so we repipe in durable PEX, plus water service line and leaking pipe repair, including burst and frozen-pipe repair after a hard North Texas freeze.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, hard-water scale shortens heater life here, so flushing, replacement, and tankless upgrades are popular. Ask about our current tank and tankless install offers.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, scale, and the roots that invade sewer and septic lines under North Texas's mature shade trees. Ask about our current drain-cleaning special.
Gas line installation and repair, in the heart of Barnett Shale country, we install, repair, and test gas lines for water heaters, ranges, pool heaters, generators, fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens and grills.
Plumbing repairs of every kind, plus faucets, toilets, showers, sinks, bathtubs, garbage disposals, and outdoor plumbing and hose bibs built for the Texas heat.
Plumbing installation for the fast-growing communities across south Tarrant and Johnson counties, fixture upgrades, remodels, and installations done right the first time.
Commercial plumbing service for the shops, offices, restaurants, and businesses across the Fort Worth–Mansfield area and Johnson County.
Cleburne's geology and mix of housing shape its plumbing. The city sits right where the Grand Prairie's limestone-and-marl country meets the sandy Eastern Cross Timbers, so homes rest on calcareous, limestone-derived clays with high shrink-swell (banded with sandy soils), a home can straddle the transition and move on just one side, and young slabs on graded clay often settle in their first years. That makes slab leaks and foundation movement common. Its historic downtown homes may have aging galvanized, cast-iron, and corroded copper pipe worth repiping, hard water scales fixtures and water heaters, and rural properties on the edges may be on private wells and septic.
Cleburne homes are built on concrete slabs (with some older pier-and-beam downtown) over expansive clay, as North Texas makes standard, not basements, so slab-leak detection and under-slab sewer work matter. Summers are long and hot; winters are mild but bring real freezes and occasional ice storms that burst exposed pipes.
Cleburne's historic, city, and rural-edge homes get our full range, slab leak detection and repair, cast-iron sewer replacement and trenchless, hard-water treatment, well service on the rural edges, historic-home and PEX repiping, water heater and tankless service, drain cleaning, gas lines, and new-construction plumbing. Our 4.8-star team finishes most jobs in one visit, with upfront pricing.

from slab leaks and cast-iron sewer lines under expansive clay to hard city water, Trinity- and Cross Timbers-aquifer wells, and ranch-country septic, we know the plumbing challenges unique to Cleburne.
fully licensed (Texas RMP license M-17631) and insured, with plumbers answering the phone around the clock, vital when a slab leak, well failure, or burst pipe strikes.
Cleburne plumbing follows the North Texas calendar. In summer droughts, water the foundation evenly to limit slab movement; have hard water treated; before a hard freeze, wrap exposed pipes; and in historic homes, watch aging galvanized and cast iron.

Made appointment to pinpoint leak in shower head. Turned out it was the valve which needed replacing. Hugo was great. Ordered it and returned the following day to install. He also shared information about flushing out our tankless water heaters and addressing excessive pressure coming into the house. We are checking with the builder before we schedule those additional jobs to see if there is any warranty on our home.
Mark Katzman
Hugo came on time. Fixed problem.

Angi recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with a 5-star rating. Repairman, Wilson did a great job. We had a leak in a waterline in the front yard. Excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a timely manner. Afterwards, he cleaned up the work site and did a safety inspection. I would definitely recommend this company and Wilson 😃

★★★★★ Exceptional service from Ethan and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Lisbon! I called just before closing and they had someone out to my home first thing the next morning. Ethan was fantastic - very polite, professional, and efficient. Pricing was very upfront before any service was provided, so there were no surprises. The job was completed within an hour! Exceptional customer service from start to finish - I also spoke to the office manager and everybody was very polite. It’s GREAT to have and know this company is serving the North Country! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We were very blessed to have such an expert as Mike come to our house to troubleshoot our hot water heater. The man is a consummate professional, has decades of experience, knew exactly what he was doing, did what he needed to do, and we couldn't be more pleased to have had this absolute expert come to evaluate our water heater. As soon as we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He'll be back in 2 days to replace the hot water heater. Thank you so much!

Great! Andrew was friendly and knowledgeable. Came out an hour after I called and got my water line fixed up. He also let me know how to protect it from future problems. I'm a happy customer
Justin Faulkner
Great communication when trying to schedule and when in route. Answered my questions and explained options before starting. Completed the work, verified it was fixed and cleaned the area when he was done. (Kitchen sink clog - more than 25’ from the sink)
William Whitehouse
Justin did a great job unclogging my kitchen sink. I tried to do it myself and evidently it went up the vent at the T instead of going down into the clog. Hopefully it will not clogged again but if it does and I can't get it I will be calling again. This is the 2nd time I've used Ben Franklin Plumbing and am happy the the fast response and courtesy of the plumbers. I recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing to anyone I know needing a plumber.

Jordan is amazing! He went out of his way to get the job done. Professional top-notch the best I’ve seen in a long time I would recommend and make sure you ask for Jordan.M
Cleburne sits where the Grand Prairie meets the Cross Timbers, on high-shrink limestone-derived clays banded with sandy soils, so the ground moves seasonally, sometimes on just one side of a home, stressing the pipes beneath the slab. We locate and repair slab leaks with acoustic and pressure testing.
