Corey was professional in every aspect of his service call. He politely introduced himself and took the time to explain how to light the gas fireplace in a way that did not make me feel foolish. It was my first time ever lighting or using a gas fireplace and I did not the house to explode! He checked the hot water heater that feeds hot water to the baseboards and checked the gas powered hot water heater that supplies hot water for dishes, laundry and showers. Corey explained that the hot water heater was four years old and that it is recommended that the tank be purged (emptied) every year to extend the life of the tank. Based on his recommendation and the offer to waive the $79.00 service call fee, I gave him the go-ahead to empty the water tank. We discussed a major project to re-plumb the whole house (it has been jury-rigged over the past 60+ years) and he said that he would rather have his manager come around (no charge) to give a better, more experienced estimate for such a large project. I strongly recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing and I will probably call on their service next summer for the whole-house re-plumb.

Corey took great care in solving our plumbing backup issue. He wound up removing an old repair that had broken, and improving the system. Corey shoots straight and looks to the interest of the client. He let me know each time he discovered an issue or needed to advise me on the best way to proceed. We had a plumbing emergency resulting in no water and BF Plumbing was extremely responsive. Chris Freeman arrived promptly and got water flowing in the house. With a newborn baby in the house, we were grateful for a professional quick-fix. BF Plumbing will upgrade our old water filtration system tomorrow to prevent any further problems. Our original installer is long-since out of business. Thank you, Chris! UPDATE: Chris upgraded our system to a much simpler filtering process that allows us to by-pass the filter to provide water to the house should we need it. So much simpler! And it appears that it also corrected our water flow in the house. We are very pleased with the results!

From the initial consultation to the final installation, the process was painless, even with my busy work schedule. They took the time to explain my options and ensured I chose the best unit for my home. Since the installation, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in water heating speed, and my electric bill has gone down. The technician mentioned that the new heater would be more efficient, but it really outperforms my 10-year-old unit. I definitely recommend upgrading if you have an older water heater like I did. The installation itself was quick and efficient and they even took the time to clean up after the job was done, one of my fears. Overall, they exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend them.
