Amazing service from the person who answered the phone to the plumbers, Luke Stelly & Alex Baudoin, who solved the issue. Ben Franklin Plumbing is top notch and my go-to plumbing company in town. Thanks for making the process hassle free

Good work. Quick turnout. Clear communication. Tim did such a good job we felt we needed to bring up out right away for another job! P.S. Google Isn't letting me give a third review, but Tim has been out to our place to repair two broken pressure tanks, a water heater, one broken well pump, plus installing a new spigot and a junction box AND install a magnetic water treatment device for me. It's been an expensive month, but Benjamin Franklin and Tim have been nothing but great.

David was competent, kind, and repaired my kitchen plumbing quickly for a fair price. He fixed some issues that were not done up to code previously and I am grateful everything is working properly now! He also identified some issues that need to be addressed soon so I don’t get another plumbing nightmare surprise in then future. Highly recommend and will use this company again for any future plumbing needs!

I found Benjamin Franklin Plumbing through online reviews, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. I had another company out the day before that spent over four hours trying to fix a drain plug and ultimately told me the only option was to cut and replace the pipe for more than $2,000. Brandon came out, quickly figured out what was actually wrong, and had it fully repaired in under an hour for a fraction of the cost. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and honest, and it was such a relief to work with someone who clearly knew what they were doing. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and if you can request Brandon, do it.

Nick did a fantastic job going through all the different areas of the house to check sinks, drains, etc… and make sure things were in good condition. He was also able to answer my questions clearly and when something was needed he went back to the office to retrieve it and was back in a few minutes. Great service!

Jay was exceptionally professional and proficient in his work. He was very timely and fast. He appeared to love his job the way he talked about plumbing issues and proper installation. I wish everyone showed the same enthusiasm about they're work as Jay. Unfortunately most people treat you like you're disturbing them when you ask for help or have questions in their work place but not Jay he was very personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Ocean County water heater?

To keep your water heater running smoothly in Ocean County, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.

How do I know if I need a Ocean County plumber for my home's low water pressure?

If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Ocean County home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Ocean County to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.

Do you offer emergency plumbing service in Ocean County?

We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.

How often should I schedule drain cleaning for my Ocean County property?

If your property has older pipes, large trees nearby, or frequent slow drains, you may need service more often. Do you offer plumbing financing in Ocean County?

We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Ocean County home?

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Ocean County home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.

What are common plumbing issues in older Ocean County homes?

Older homes in Ocean County often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Ocean County?

To get your plumbing ready for winter in Ocean County, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Ocean County?

Signs of a damaged sewer line in your NJ home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
