I have used Ben Franklin/One Hour for several jobs and I am always happy with the service. Mike and Ethan (plumbers) have both been great. They are professional and quick and friendly. I would recommend using them, because the work is 100% guaranteed and you never know what you'll get if you go with a smaller company or independent service person. Also, I've never had a problem getting them right to my house the same or the next day. Top marks.

Replacement of the fill valve of our toilet. Took like 5min, he was done. I'm quite independent but will not mess with plumbing or electrical. Awesome to have someone to call to fix issues promptly. When it rains it pours, needed another repair of the tub faucets & had to call them back out. We were again promptly taken care of by Matt & so pleased at the young man's manners. Thank you So we had to have another repair done, this time the replacement of heat tape on our waterline under the house. This service was done by Ethan and yet again the company sends us the greatest professional young man. Explained everything he was doing and popped in several times to keep us informed of things found & progress made. Thank you all so much for providing an amazing service. We'll worth every penny spent.

Matt and Jeff were both fantastic from Ben Franklin!! Jeff did the initial estimate and was realistic and informative. Matt did the install of a new hot water tank and was fast efficient and his cleanup was amazing. Matt was even good with an older dog being in the home. I will continue to use this company and will highly recommend them!!

One night, water was dripping down from the kitchen ceiling due to a leak in the upstairs bathroom, and later that night we also found the basement water heater had left 1/4 inch water pooling on the floor. When I called Ben Franklin the next morning, they were super responsive and had sent Ethan over within an hour to work on it. Ethan is one of the most professional plumbers I have come across, bar none. He was friendly and courteous, and took extra steps with his work to ensure I was satisfied - he treated the job like he was doing this for himself. One example: he scrapped all of the plumbing that tied the water heater into the geothermal heating and re-did it all using copper piping. As he finished, he wasn't happy about the way it routed, so he cut, soldered extensions, and made sure it was done to his high standard. He could've just left it as-is and I wouldn't have known any better. Furthermore, Ethan inspected the upstairs leak and determined it came from the toilet that was completely installed improperly. It was getting late, so he gave me the option to come back in the morning or to continue to get 'er done. He didn't have any issue finishing the job that evening with an entirely fresh (and proper) toilet install that even required him to add 2x4 wood boards into the floor to give the toilet a strong foundation/base to attach to. If I could give Ethan 6 stars I would. But really, 5 stars to Ethan. And because he represents Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, they in turn also benefit from the 5 stars. Hat's off, guys.

Ethan was great. He checked everything and since it was our first time having a plumber without a known problem he explained to my husband what he was checking and the reason why! He was very patient and thoughtful. We will definitely ask for him if we even have a problem and for all of our checkups!
