Simon Webster

Beware- it turns out that these pipes if not tightened, painted and treated correctly when first installed by a confusing mix of builder and supplier can fail to seal. Thus a call to a plumber is required. Ben Franklin team came highly recommended and Mike explained exactly what i was paying for and why. The work is warrantied and i felt i got good service hence this review.

Very satisfied. Quick processing even though weekends or out of office hour. Since Real estate industry transactions never sleeps. I worked with Cody lane. He was very thorough and responsible throughout the plumbing/sewer camera inspection process. Also, Benjamin Franklin plumbing company, I highly admire their business processing. They respond quickly, send a reminder text and easy to communicate no matter what time. Thank you Benjamin Franklin plumbing!

I'd like to thank Arthur Ferguson AKA, " Ben Affleck " and his side kick "Corbin" for all the work they did. Dealing with and old house has it's challenges. Arthur was patient, and very informative in explaining what was required in order to resolve the issues. Such a warm and caring person you have working for your company, Benjamin Franklin ! I will definitely recommend him for any upcoming jobs I have. Five Stars for these guys !!

Ben did an excellent job! He was on time, was quick to evaluate the problem with our toilet, quoted us a fair price and got to work. After beginning the job, he provided updates throughout, shared what was leading to our issue, and discussed with us the solution. The total job was completed very quickly. Ben was professional, friendly and efficient! Highly recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing!

Paula

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Dallas water heater?

To keep your water heater running smoothly in Dallas, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.

How do I know if I need a Dallas plumber for my home's low water pressure?

If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Dallas home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Dallas to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.

Do you offer emergency plumbing service in Dallas?

We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.

How often should I schedule drain cleaning for my Dallas property?

If your property has older pipes, large trees nearby, or frequent slow drains, you may need service more often. Regular maintenance keeps your plumbing flowing smoothly and protects your home from unexpected issues. For most homes in Dallas, scheduling professional drain cleaning once a year helps prevent clogs, odors, and costly backups. Do you offer plumbing financing in Dallas?

We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Dallas home?

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Dallas home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.

What are common plumbing issues in older Dallas homes?

Older homes in Dallas often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Dallas?

To get your plumbing ready for winter in Dallas, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Dallas?

Signs of a damaged sewer line in your TX home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
