Named Forbes' Top Ranked Plumbing Company of 2024!
When you’re looking for plumbing services in Seminole, FL, the options can feel overwhelming. Following these guidelines can help you make a quick and easy decision to find the best plumber for your needs. It’s always easiest to find a great company when you have a referral. Ask you local family and friends who they recommend. Online listings, like Google Places and Yelp, are also great resources. Customers can leave reviews and ratings, so that can help you get an accurate picture of the business. Check credentials before hiring.
The plumbing company should be licensed to work in your area, and have insurance for their safety and yours. All plumbers should be certified. If a plumbing service wants your business, they need to provide the best customer service possible–you are allowing them into your home, after all. Look for a company that is consistently courteous and professional, and you feel comfortable with them. Fair pricing is important.
If you’re not sure if they’re offering a fair price, get a second opinion. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is now serving Seminole, FL, so give them a call.
There are many ways to conserve water, and Seminole, FL plumbers want to help you. Talk to your plumber about what you can do in your household to cut down on water usage. It might be simple tips like turning the water off when you brush your teeth, or washing fruit and vegetables in a pan of water, rather than under running water, or reusing that water to water plants. Plumbers can also install tankless water heaters and dual flush toilets, both of which are great for saving energy and water. Tankless water heaters take up less space than traditional water heaters, and only heat water as needed.
They are energy efficient, and if you choose an Energy Star one, eligible for a tax credit. Dual flush toilets are great for conserving water. Older toilet models use upwards of 5 gallons of water in a single flush. Dual flush toilets can cut that number in half. A liquid waste flush uses less than one gallon of water. You can save hundreds of gallons of water by installing an inexpensive dual flush toilet. Using greywater is yet another way that you can save water and money. Greywater is the water that you used in showering, washing your hands, washing clothing and dishes. Talk to a plumber about safely reusing greywater to water your yard and landscaping.
There are so many different plumbing emergencies and problems, that it can be tough to know when to do it yourself or call your plumbers in Seminole, FL. Low water pressure, toilet problems, and drain clogs are common reasons to get in touch with a plumber. If low water pressure is only a problem from one faucet, you can probably fix it yourself. If you have low water pressure all through the house, you might have a bigger problem. Common toilet problems are sewage smells, not enough water in the tank, and clogging. Talk to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to see what services they can offer you.

My Tech was Cody. He serviced my heating unit 1/23/26. He was professional friendly and respectful. He noted the issue with my unit and took care of it. I've been using One Hour heating since 2012 and will continue. I always have a good experience.

Aaron was friendly and did most of the work in a short period of time. He forgot to return to finish the job so I had to call four times. He came out and apologized as he forgot to finish the small job. No biggie to me. What I was upset was the cost of $2K. It was excessive for the job. I had surgery on right hand so I couldn’t do it. Aaron dug a few feet down reattach the flipper and install a new tube. Being retired with limited income the price was too high for the job. the only new parts was the 40 gage tube and cap which was about $25. The flipper was not replaced but reattached. I feel you folks could do better by not charging a high price for the type of job. The $538 to come out would have been the price to pay. The back up problem was the back flow flipper came off and cause the stop of the flow. Once it was moved the water flowed away. Other suggestions came with a price tag of $4K the back flow value was already installed. Like I said the cost was way too much. Aaron was good doing his job. I’m just angry at the price.

We woke up early this morning to below zero temperatures and the sound of rushing water and flooding on our first floor and basement. Josh from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing arrived on time as promised, located and replaced a cracked pipe so that we were able to turn our water back on within two hours. Josh is a very personable young man who knows his stuff. He also recommended a restoration company to remove and replace our wet plaster. We are very appreciative of his great work on this bitterly cold day.

I had a great experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! From start to finish, they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They kept me updated every step of the way and even provided clear before-and-after pictures, which I really appreciated. They did an excellent job installing handwashing sinks and a sink for my warming kitchen, and everything was completed with care and attention to detail. I want to give a special shout-out to Tyler and Jenna — they were absolutely amazing, patient, and informative. I also met the manager once (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!), but you were great as well. The whole team truly went above and beyond. What stood out the most is that they took the time to look up the plumbing codes for my childcare center, explained everything clearly, and educated me on the correct equipment that should be used and what should stay to remain compliant. That level of care and knowledge gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and knowledgeable plumbing company. You guys are great — thank you again!

Neri & Brandon were GREAT! The service was consultative and customer focused. These gentlemen went above and beyond, to include putting in overtime to make sure we had what we need before an A.M. home inspection. I look forward to working with them to fulfill needs in our next home!

Vinnie and Myles came promptly to fix our hot water system - not knowing what the real issue even was! As soon as they looked they had the system working within a few minutes. Additionally we looked at the overall system, which had not been maintained properly, and we got a much needed education. We'll be getting them back soon for future maintenance and new system. More to come. We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Customer service was prompt, courteous, educated, and pleasant.

We call ben franklin and got an immediate response. The plumbers were there in thirty minutes, figured out the problem, fixed the problem, and charged less than the estimate that I originally chose. Thanks to Seth for his expertise and his honesty.
To keep your water heater running smoothly in Seminole, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Seminole home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Seminole to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Seminole home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.
Older homes in Seminole often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.
To get your plumbing ready for winter in Seminole, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.
Signs of a damaged sewer line in your home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
