Initially my problem was a stopped up toilet and a plumber was sent out to assist. He claimed to have resolved the problem but unfortunately it wasn’t. After reaching out to management another plumber was sent out to resolve the issue. He discovered that it wasn’t the drain but something was clogged in the toilet suggesting replacing the toilet because whatever it was couldn’t be reached. After discussing it with management they agreed to cover the price for a new toilet and have someone come to install it (I had paid for cleaning the drainage and toilet rebuild $825) after I already purchased a new toilet. The second plumber was insistent on helping resolve the issue so he reach out to his colleague who he believed could help. So they came out and they recovered what was causing the blockage (AirPod case). So I was able to use my same toilet and they helped with returning the new toilet. I totally satisfied with how they helped resolve this issue and definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs. I can’t remember the two guys name but they definitely are 5 star plumbers. Thanks again for your assistance.

We had Christian from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing service come out to fix a leak in our home. He was patient, explained the procedure thoroughly, on time, and cleaned up the mess. We were pleased with his work.

Love the updates! Everything works perfectly!. The family is so thankful for the new complete water pipes lines, the new waterless tank, the toilet tank repair and most of all the new tub and tiles! The sink doesn’t backup anymore and the water taste so so much better! The metal taste is gone! The toilets don’t flush themselves anymore and the rattling of the pipes doesn’t exist anymore! Their master plumber is awesome; he’s worth every penny spent and more! Gerald, Ryan and team did beyond our family expectations! 5 stars

Quick response by a very knowledgeable plumber. Replaced an old garden hose bib in 2 hours after they were contacted. I will use them for all my plumbing needs.

José was very knowledgeable. He verified that the low flow problem with my old faucet was due to the faucet and not in the house plumbing before installing the new faucet that we had bought a couple of days earlier. My wife and I preferred the design of the new faucet, and José eliminated our worry that the new faucet might not fix the low flow problem. The new faucet is leak free and works great.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Novato for a water heater replacement estimate and was impressed. Turns out my heater wasn’t that old and I didn’t need an expensive replacement (yet). He got it going again and suggested a service to drain/flush it to give it more life. Top 3 things I loved: 1) Friendly and helpful staff who explained everything clearly 2) Fast response when I needed a plumber 3) Affordable rates and quality workmanship. Would definitely use their plumber services again.
To keep your water heater running smoothly in Helena, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Helena home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Helena to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.
For most homes in Helena, scheduling professional drain cleaning once a year helps prevent clogs, odors, and costly backups. If your property has older pipes, large trees nearby, or frequent slow drains, you may need service more often. Regular maintenance keeps your plumbing flowing smoothly and protects your home from unexpected issues.
We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.
Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Helena home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.
Older homes in Helena often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.
To get your plumbing ready for winter in Helena, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.
Signs of a damaged sewer line in your home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
