Anthony Leach

We called many plumbers for an emergency pipe burst in our wall and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was the only local place that was available and willing to assist. The customer service was very good and they sent Tom Louchren. Tom was here very quick. He located the copper leak and replaced the entire piece the correct way. I am very grateful for their response that day because we were in a panic mode. I will always go through this company from now on and I hope they send Tom. Highly recommended. Thanks

Logan was AWESOME! He showed up early, evaluated the situation, gave us a quote and we agreed. The job turned into a bigger deal than anticipated. It went from 4 hours to 8. Logan kept at it, was so professional and kind, and produced a beautiful job complete. We truly appreciate what he did! Thank you Ben Franklin plumbing! We are a very satisfied customer.

Lori Robinson

I called mid-afternoon on a Sunday. I had no water in my house, not even a trickle. Aaron arrived quicker than I expected, which was great. He checked all possible causes for the lack of water in my house. He explained what he was doing, and made suggestions of other areas I should consider checking. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. In addition, there wasn't an additional charge for service on a Sunday, like many companies do. A pleasant experience.

I had an after-hours emergency, and Benjamin Franklin was the 5th 27/7 plumber to call that actually could come out! Tom Louchren was calm, methodical, and worked for hours to get my sewer line open again. Thank you!

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Prescott water heater?

To keep your water heater running smoothly in Prescott, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.

How do I know if I need a Prescott plumber for my home's low water pressure?

If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Prescott home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Prescott to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.

Do you offer plumbing financing in Prescott?

We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Prescott home?

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Prescott home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.

What are common plumbing issues in older Prescott homes?

Older homes in Prescott often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Prescott?

To get your plumbing ready for winter in Prescott, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Prescott?

Signs of a damaged sewer line in your AZ home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
