Deciding whether to repair or replace a faucet depends on the extent of the damage. If the faucet is relatively new and only has a minor issue like a leaking valve or worn-out washers, repairing it is generally the cheaper option. However, if the faucet is old, constantly breaking down, or has significant damage, replacing it might be more cost-effective in the long run. Typically, you should consider the age of the faucet, the cost of parts, and labor when making your decision. If the repair costs more than 50% of the replacement cost, we generally recommend replacing the faucet.
Garbage disposals work hard to break up food waste so it can safely pass through your pipes. While the blades and motors are robust to aid in this process, they can break down just like any other household appliance. If your garbage disposal breaks, you are faced with the tough decision of whether to replace it or not. Minor repairs, especially on newer models may be a quick and inexpensive fix. If you have an older model or one with a less powerful motor, replacement could be the more cost-effective choice. Newer models are often more energy-efficient and quieter, making replacement a better long-term investment in many cases.
Yes, it’s true that installing a tankless water heater can reduce energy bills. Unlike traditional water heaters that constantly heat and store water in a tank, a tankless system heats water on demand. This means it only uses energy when you need hot water, leading to potential savings on energy costs. Additionally, newer appliances with advanced technology tend to be more energy-efficient, offering benefits like longer lifespan and space savings. While the initial installation cost may be higher than a traditional style water heater, the cost savings will accumulate over time with the reduced energy expense.
Instead of wasting your time and money with a DIY job, work with professionals who get you the results you want. I called One Air Heating for a second opinion on my furnace drama. I have battling it since the first of December with another company. First off the second opinion was free! I did not know that! How Wonderful for this old lady! Cody came out same day....what a great guy and very knowledgeable of my furnace unit. After explaining my troubles, and he listened to all of them, he looked at the thermostat and the the unit. Turned out I need a control board, which of course, is back ordered. So.....he did a temporary fix, and checked to see if they had any boards at all for the unit in case the fix doesn't hold. Found an old board, but have decided to wait if the temporary fails. He came out on the 21st and as of the 24th, its still working. He even gave me his number and said if any problems give him a call. He even texted on friday to check in. Great Service for sure, I'm glad I called their number for the second opinion. Thanks so much Cody!

Our experience was awesome with Mr JD Workman, Mr Luke , Mr Trey. They did a great job on our home. Workmanship was excellent and they explained what they were doing. The cost was very reasonable we found. More than $2300 lest then the other quote. Found a good plumbing company to do future work we may need!!! They cleaned up after themselves and put all the paneling they removed back. They were very polite. Miss Heather was very polite and helped us out with the pex piping of our house. We rated them 5 stars because they were!!!! Thanks for fantastic job!!!!

I had a great experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! From start to finish, they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They kept me updated every step of the way and even provided clear before-and-after pictures, which I really appreciated. They did an excellent job installing handwashing sinks and a sink for my warming kitchen, and everything was completed with care and attention to detail. I want to give a special shout-out to Tyler and Jenna — they were absolutely amazing, patient, and informative. I also met the manager once (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!), but you were great as well. The whole team truly went above and beyond. What stood out the most is that they took the time to look up the plumbing codes for my childcare center, explained everything clearly, and educated me on the correct equipment that should be used and what should stay to remain compliant. That level of care and knowledge gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and knowledgeable plumbing company. You guys are great — thank you again!

Cole is an amazing tech. He came over for an after hours call and was quickly able to identify and trouble shoot the issue with my water filter. I will definitely reach out to him again for any plumbing issues in the future.

Vinnie and Myles came promptly to fix our hot water system - not knowing what the real issue even was! As soon as they looked they had the system working within a few minutes. Additionally we looked at the overall system, which had not been maintained properly, and we got a much needed education. We'll be getting them back soon for future maintenance and new system. More to come. We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Customer service was prompt, courteous, educated, and pleasant.

Great experience with Benjamin Franklin. Alex and Robert were friendly, professional and efficient in their work. They took time to do little thinks like cover their shoes, or take them off before entering. Even though I have hardwood floors, it was nice to see.

It was good until someone at the shop ordered the wrong water heater...little delay....they had problems wiring the hot water heater.... The work they did was top notch from what I can see. I was glad that they made sure that it was wired correctly, they took their time and did the job right the first time...will post any follow-up if necessary... The guys were polite, worked hard, got the job done...thanks guys I didn't want to stay in a motel a second night...Happy New Year...lol
To keep your water heater running smoothly in Franklin, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Franklin home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Franklin to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
