Ryder and his partner came on time and were professional. They installed a water powered backup sump jet for me. I already had the part so they finished the job within a few hours. They answered all of my questions and were able to discover that there was a leak with my new sump pump discharge pipe. I would use them again.
Scott & TK are friendly, professional, knowledgeable & efficient. I highly recommend them/this company. The company even called me back to explain the meter results, just to make sure I understood everything. They called in another company to get an opinion if other work outside scope needed to be done - for free! Communication is excellent between everyone. Good job!
It was a pleasure having Patrick help us today he was thorough and our leak was a difficult one to find he repaired it and another place that had the same issue and would have been a problem in the future. He was very professional and courteous throughout the process and gave us a good price even went as far as getting me a veteran discount. I believe he went above and beyond what was required. We needed a lit of work done on a house that had been empty for a year. John installed all new plumbing/drain for the washer, an added laundry tub plus replacing the whole house water shut off valve. He was great at working with our situation and explained all that he was doing.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Benjamin Franklin’s Pluming, and in particular with Matthew Stymest. I started hiring them a few years back when they provided the best repiping offer, and since then they have changed my garbage disposal, replaced toilets, fixed leaks, etc. Last week I was especially impressed by Matthew’s response. My old water heater was leaking so I texted him in the morning, and by the time we came home from work the new heater was installed and working perfectly. We were both impressed and grateful. Great quality, excellent customer service !
Greg came by to jet wash my sink piping. It turns out that a bend in the plumbing would not allow him to complete the job. After 2hrs trying work arounds, Greg and his manager were gracious enough to cut the price in half because they couldn’t get past the bend. Greg was professional and went the extra mile on a tough job. I also appreciated the commitment of the manager in prorating the price, just good business sense.
Cristian did a phenomenal job today. He had his work cut out for him. He had many mistakes to fix from previous work done (not by a plumber ) before we moved in. Changed out piping, valves etc. on water heater. Placed the exhaust on water heater correctly. He then replaced the S trap with a P trap under bathroom sink. He also had to deal with incorrect plumbing in the wall. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything before he did any work. He cleaned everything up nicely too. Very thankful he was able to finish all the work today. Would highly recommend. Thank you Cristian!!

Mr. Zarzaca has over 25 years experience in mechanical and general contracting. He and his wife, Jean-Marie Zarzaca purchased Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Charleston in 2017 with the goal of rebuilding the organization and transforming it into the very best service plumbing organization in Charleston. Since July of 2017, we have replaced all but 2 employees from the original 5 and have grown to a family of 15 employees including 1 dispatcher, 1 office manager, 7 high quality technicians and 6 plumbing apprentices taking part on our apprenticeship program to teach the trade to the next generation of BFP Plumbers. When Anthony is not working with the business, he enjoys the area beaches with Jean-Marie, is a gourmet chef, coaches youth football in Mt. Pleasant and supports his three children's travel sports.
Derek McDonnell
Field Operations Supervisor
Derek is the newest member of our team here at BFP. With over 25 years in the trade, Derek comes to us originally from Boston, Massachusetts by way of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As a leader at the Ben Franklin franchise in PA, Derek worked both in the field and ran operations. He is an outstanding plumber and diagnostician of hard-to-see problems. New to the Low Country, he, his wife and family are learning all of the amazing things that Low Country Living has to offer. When not working, he and his wife support their son's high school wresting career, the beach and exploring the area.
Ricardo Solorzano

Ricky, as he is known to us and customers across the Low Country came to us in Late 2017 as our third hire in the rebuilding process. He moved to Charleston from South Florida where he has worked in plumbing for the last 20 years. We have been extremely fortunate to have Ricky on our team as he has made a complete transformation from new construction plumbing to service plumbing where he has built great relationships with his customer base and successfully graduated his assigned apprentice to a service technician in 18 months. Rick os an amazing woodworker, husband in father of three children.

Debbie came to BFP mid way through our very tumultuous first year in business. Since that time, Debbie is the organizing force of our office and a steady hand in an emergency service business that is reactive by its nature. Debbie handles all of our HR, accounting and just about anything else needed to keep the company growing. When she is not in her office at BFP, Debbie and her husband are either enjoying the beach or running after her family and three incredible granddaughters.

Jason "Dalton" Stanley
Technician
Dalton is one of only 2 employees left from the company we purchased in mid-2017. An apprentice at that time, he worked with several different technicians and learned the detail of the trade from multiple perspectives. After a 2 year apprenticeship, Dalton was promoted in 2018 and has thrived in the lead role. As a rare native son of Sullivan's Island SC, Dalton loves everything about the Low Country, hunting, fishing, his dogs, his family and his beloved Clemson Tigers.
