Jacob was very personable and knowledgeable about what we need to have done. Update: He was on time on the arranged date and did a great job installing our toilet and three new faucets. Would very much recommend him and the company. P.S. They gave us a military discount which was very much appreciated.

Great experience! Call this morning at 9:00 with frozen pipes, PJ was here by 1:00 and we were six shortly after. PJ was great, explained everything throughly! Great experience, I would highly recommend.

Phillip Kelley
Made an online appointment and was contacted the same day to have someone come in one day. Customer service was exceptional especially considering rd conditions due to recent wintery weather. The technician Jeff Gulliver was great as well with getting everything set and up and explaining what went wrong and things to look out for. Highly recommend Benjamin Franklin to anyone in the triad for their plumbing needs.

I called Benjamin Franklin yesterday when all the roads were iced over hoping to get on the “list” for someone to come when the ice melted. I was called the next day with a plumber on his way. Within an hour the water heater was fixed and I took a shower 1 hour later. That was service!! Josh and Tanner were professional and worked quickly. Josh explained three options, no pressure to choose, but just the facts!!. I am so happy to have hot water.

I’d give more stars if I could. We’ve been customers for more than ten years and they have always been great but this most recent service call was somehow even better. Matthew was conscientious and really listened to what the issue was. He had thoughtful ideas of how to fix the issue, not just “replace parts until something fixes the problem”. Rare these days. Almost as good was the office finding a way to get us a same-day service call the day before the ice storm hit.
Shana Gallagher
Excellent service from start to finish. Nick A kept us fully in the loop throughout the entire process, explaining what was happening and what to expect next, which we really appreciated. Very polite, professional, and easy to work with. It’s rare to find someone so communicative and respectful—highly recommend!
Mark Singleton
These guys are the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. Their work is top notch. Would recommend them any day!
Talia Miller
Arrived on time (Isreal) very professional explained everything in great detail. Offered maintenance tips. Completely satisfied our plumbing concerns. Would highly recommend this company.
To keep your water heater running smoothly in Alabaster, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Alabaster home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Alabaster to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Alabaster home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.
Older homes in Alabaster often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.
To get your plumbing ready for winter in Alabaster, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.
Signs of a damaged sewer line in your home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
