Had an issue that I couldn’t resolve myself so called Benjamin Franklin plumbing last minute. They sent Chase out late at night since family and I were leaving for vacation the next morning.Even after working an extremely long day, he was poised professional, and got the Job done quickly and efficiently. He walked me through everything before he got started gave me options and after he was finished, walked me through and showed me what he had done. He was very professional, awesome guy and a good worker. Wish it wasn’t expensive as it was but overall satisfied with the job done.

I made an appointment with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a intermittent very strong odor coming from laundry room / basement recreation room area the past couple weeks. Nicholas arrived on time and was very professional. Needless to say when he arrived the odor was not present at all so it was not an obvious fix. He trouble shooted and looked at all possibilities. He saw the open sink pipe without a cap ( we just removed the sink 2 weeks ago for renovations and have not installed a new sink yet ) Bingo! He then installed the cap . I will definitely call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again for future plumbing needs.

We recently had a water leak in our garage ceiling, and Bryson Jones came out to diagnose the issue. He quickly identified the cause of the leak and explained everything clearly. He was very knowledgeable and even offered additional tips on how we can improve our home’s plumbing overall. Bryson was professional, easy to work with, and had the job handled in no time. We truly appreciate his expertise and the quality service he provided. Highly recommend him for a job well done! Shirley Thomas

Thanks for responding in a timely manner. Joshua was great. He told me about the process, answered my questions, even helped me clear the way to the back door to get the heater downstairs. And now the heater happily sits in the basement making hot water!

I REALLY appreciate Juan 1 and Juan 2. Both were very knowledgeable, patient, polite, and ACTIVE Listeners. They took pride in helping us resolve the issue. They provided the maybe and the worst case scenario. Mr. Scott came with them the next day and he is amazing and a patient supervisor. He lead by example and it shows. The copper tubing / line to our refrigerator ice maker and cold water dispenser burst, so having used Ben Franklin Plumbing before they were the first one we called. Jose arrived on time Monday morning, did an excellent job and our line was not only replaced, but the connection from under the house and new shut off valve were greatly improved over the original installation by the company that sold us the refrigerator. We are in our late seventies and appreciate Jose’s kindness, patience, and overall work ethic. A job well done!

Super happy with the communication and the level of service provided by their technician Joshua Beadenkopf. He was attentive, explained the issue, addressed the issue, and cleaned up well after the work was done.
To keep your water heater running smoothly in Birmingham, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Birmingham home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Birmingham to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
We are available 24/7 to take your call for emergencies. Our appointment hours are listed above.
