Mason is one of the best technical plumbing specialists I have ever met. He analyzed each issue in the house and then completed them in order of importance. At the end he inspected each issue to insure they were properly installed to his satisfaction. Excellent job Mason!

Marshall is outstanding! He found answers to my concerns! He even got his hands dirty checking in the ground for my water meter! I will call for further help as needed! Outstanding!! He emailed recommendations for my son to review. No repairs as yet. I have toilet issues and outrageous water bill charges. He also gave advice regarding a water filtration system I have.

Josh and Jonathan were great, they were early for the appointment and the work on the maintenance and installation was great and all work was completed that same afternoon. Very professional, the price was good and all the work was explained well and done neatly and the work area cleaned after completion. I will be happy to recommend both of them and Ben Franklin

We had water dripping down from our ceiling in our entry way due to a leaking supply line above and Bailey F. got there right on time and had us fixed up with water again in our home within two hours! Bailey was clean, very professional, punctual and he explained everything on what was going on in full detail. He serviced our heating boiler system two months prior and he provided the same excellent service then! That’s what brought us back to Freedom Plumbing for our supply line issue today! Freedom Plumbing will continue to be our go-to service for years to come. Be sure to give Bailey a raise! The guy is worth every penny!! Thank you!

Greetings all! I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff, from Benjamin and Franklin plumbing and heating, this service guy is very professional, knows his work, also answers questions and trouble shoots the situation, which in my case being the hot water heater, was leaking and hissing, gave me an estimate, told me his professional opinion on the matter, I was very confident to allow Jeff to proceed with the job. However unfortunately I had paid in full for a hot water heater, of which the service man from another company ghosted me leaving me in a position of not only anger, but seriously questioning what I should do with the spot I was in. After two days of ignoring my text and voicemail, I decided to move on, then on Saturday evening, the guy shows up with the hot water heater, planning on putting it in, I told him, not tonight, no way, that I found someone else, he seemed sorry for the negative experience I was experiencing. Said he lost his work phone. So, he said I'll be back Monday morning to install the water heater, I figured since it's paid for and it's here, I'll see if this comes to completion! If you need anyone for plumbing and heating, I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin, they are local, reasonable and accommodating. The girls at this business are super understanding, a pleasure to speak to, not like the answering service, that many companies have. Bethany and Monica, I've spoken to both ladies, just so very personable and wonderful for the business, they understand and waste no time hoping on getting a same day service for your needs. Thank you to all, I had a very nice experience. Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and a healthy wonderful year ahead. Thank you so much for restoring my faith and confidence in serving customers with your RELIABLE services! Thanks again so much!

What stood out most was the professionalism, care, and humanity shown throughout the entire experience. Jason Eckert, the technician who worked on my mother’s home, was exceptional. During a very tender season for my family, Jason was not only highly skilled and thorough, but also deeply respectful of both the home and the moment. He took the time to clearly explain the work, communicated every step along the way, and made sure everything was done right—not rushed. Jason treated my mother’s home as if it were his own, and that level of care and integrity meant more to me than I can express. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Chapel Hill & Durham delivered exactly what you hope for but don’t always get: punctuality, clear communication, excellent craftsmanship, and genuine care. Because of Jason Eckert’s work, I had complete peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend both Jason and the company to anyone looking for trustworthy, top-tier plumbing services.

5* to Cory, Johnny, & Cai (& the excavators) for their outstanding customer service! I needed to replace 50+ years of pipe in order to get my toilet working again. Required a 14-foot tunnel to be dug underneath my house, along with a “static test” to check for leaks & a City of Dallas Inspector to come by. While I paid a certain amount up front, Cory helped me arrange financing for the rest. It’s important to me to understand what’s going on, & all 3 of them answered all of my questions. Professional job from start to finish! My family’s trusted Ben Franklin Plumbing for many years, & this is one of the reasons why. BTW, Cory – thanks to your excavators for spending all weekend re-filling the tunnel under my house. Can hardly tell that the ground was even disturbed.

Edgar came out to the house very quick on a Sunday morning. He quickly saw the issue with our tankless heater. Though a replacement was not what we were hoping to hear, the options presented were good and with a very quick turn around for installing the replacement. I also liked hearing that the company has a policy to involve a 3rd person when presenting replacement quotes to anyone over 65.

Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Ukiah home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Ukiah home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.
Older homes in Ukiah often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks.
