AJ was on time, friendly and knowledgeable about the problem. He explained everything to me and gave me three quotes. And he was patient and allowed me to choose which plan to go with. Thus company has been great for me and I highly recommend them. Most of all, I called them after 100 pm. The lady told me that she could have a plumber to me between 200 pm and 600 pm. He did arrive early and took less time than he told me it would take.
Very pleased with the work that was done at my home. We encountered many issues that needed to be fixed and we were greeted by some amazing people! Mr.Eric installed our new water heater and he answered every question and concern and put our minds at ease . Ryder and Jourdan are helping us with our plumbing issue and they’ve done the exact same aswell! I’m very comfortable saying that I will be handling all repairs for a lifetime with this company. Not just because of the work that was done but it’s because I know they have these 3 wonderful people working for them!! They’ve made our life so much easier in a tough home owning time. We woke up early this morning to below zero temperatures and the sound of rushing water and flooding on our first floor and basement. Josh from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing arrived on time as promised, located and replaced a cracked pipe so that we were able to turn our water back on within two hours. Josh is a very personable young man who knows his stuff. He also recommended a restoration company to remove and replace our wet plaster. We are very appreciative of his great work on this bitterly cold day.
I called One Air Heating for a second opinion on my furnace drama. I have battling it since the first of December with another company. First off the second opinion was free! I did not know that! How Wonderful for this old lady! Cody came out same day....what a great guy and very knowledgeable of my furnace unit. After explaining my troubles, and he listened to all of them, he looked at the thermostat and the the unit. Turned out I need a control board, which of course, is back ordered. So.....he did a temporary fix, and checked to see if they had any boards at all for the unit in case the fix doesn't hold. Found an old board, but have decided to wait if the temporary fails. He came out on the 21st and as of the 24th, its still working. He even gave me his number and said if any problems give him a call. He even texted on friday to check in. Great Service for sure, I'm glad I called their number for the second opinion. Thanks so much Cody!
Excellent service. My water heater started pouring water. So i started calling around to find a plumber that would come and fix it same day. After 10 calls around i found Benjamin Franklin. They sent someone within the hour and before day was done i had a brand new water heater and my house was brought up to code! Thank you Ronnie, David and Jay. Extremely professional and tidy!
Ryan was very competent and thorough. Although all I really wanted was my toilet to work again he made some very good observations throughout my house of things needing work. He presented pros and cons and didn't feel overly pressured to do anything. His work was done right away and he left no mess. I will definitely call him in the future.
Very personable, timely, got the job done quickly, explained everything he was doing, gave recommendations for keeping our pipes from freezing. Liked him a lot.
This is the 2nd time Brandon has come out to assist with things we just needed a professional for. He is straight forward and very Honest. We will have him back! There are plenty of projects that need to be tackled. Hopefully he will bring Parker back too!
Initially called for a sewage smell in my house that’s been going on for a long time and getting worse. During technician’s assessment he determined that our pipes were not in code and needed to be replaced. He was a hard worker and stayed on task. He did find the source of the smell and fixed it.The job took 2 days plus a 3rd day to come back to fix some of his work after inspected by his supervisor. During that visit one of the fixes unfortunately caused a gap in the tub as seen in attached picture. I’m giving a 4 star because he usually came 1.5 hours or more after the time he told us he would come. One day he didn’t come at all or call. Again, our problem was fixed and he took care of an extra request, but dependability was lacking.
I had a great experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! From start to finish, they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They kept me updated every step of the way and even provided clear before-and-after pictures, which I really appreciated. They did an excellent job installing handwashing sinks and a sink for my warming kitchen, and everything was completed with care and attention to detail. I want to give a special shout-out to Tyler and Jenna — they were absolutely amazing, patient, and informative. I also met the manager once (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!), but you were great as well. The whole team truly went above and beyond. What stood out the most is that they took the time to look up the plumbing codes for my childcare center, explained everything clearly, and educated me on the correct equipment that should be used and what should stay to remain compliant. That level of care and knowledge gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and knowledgeable plumbing company. You guys are great — thank you again!

Kelly Wiser

Kelly Wiser was born and raised in McArthur California a small agricultural community Northeast of Redding on the edge of the Shasta National Forrest. He is married with three children. In his free time he enjoys building and competing with Radio Controlled cars.
Kelly began his plumbing career as a SeaBee in the United States Navy. He graduated number one in his class in 1994 with the rank of E5 and worked as a plumber and HVAC technician in Adak Alaska and Guam. He began his career as a civilian plumber in 1998 and began working in Lake and Mendocino Counties in 2000.
He continues his plumbing education through weekly training sessions at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and was certified in water treatment through ProSystems water treatment training in Chicago Illinois. He is certified in Wirsbo Aquapex and Rehau pex pipe installation, Rinnai tankless water heater installation, Wardflex, Gastite and Tracpipe gas pipe installation. He is certified in confined space entry and trench shoring. He is also an Asbestos Abatement Contractor. Kelly has worked in wholesale distribution and specializes in troubleshooting.
Stan Kincannon
Plumber
Stan Kincannon was born and raised on the plains of Northeastern Montana (brrr) and moved to the Bay Area in 1981 to attend college where he graduated Cum Laude from John F. Kennedy University with a bachelor's degree in Holistic Health in 1983. He continued his education in the health field with a Master's Certificate from the Institute of Experiential Therapy. Stan is married with two grown children.
Stan began his plumbing career in the fall of 1988 working for a Plumbing Wholesale Distributor in San Francisco. He entered the service and repair side of the industry when he moved to Lake County in 1992. He started in business in 1995 and currently holds licenses for California General Contracting (B), Plumbing (C36) and Sanitation Systems (C42). He is a certified installer for Rinnai tankless water heaters, Wirsbo Aquapex and has attended water heater sizing school through AO Smith company, is certified in water treatment through ProSystems water treatment. Throughout his career he has performed and supervised the installation of thousands of plumbing jobs ranging from whole house pipe installations, trenchless sewer and water line installation, water treatment and septic system design.
