Calvin Kidd

Mamadou He was a very knowledgeable person to have come and service our hot water heater. He was very polite and is a great asset to your company. Because of his knowledge of everything and how he explained it, we signed up for a service plan from all three companies. We feel confident that this was in our best interest. We thank him for the time he spent in our home. Thank you Calvin Kiddo

Just bought a house and had a major plumbing emergency. I randomly called this company because they had emergency services and I was so happy with how it turned out. Person on the phone was very sympathetic and set me up with a visit, I also signed up for the membership because not only do you save money but you have access to other benefits. They gave me an all day window but the tech Shaun showed up only a couple hours later to my relief, I had called very early in the morning. Shaun was very nice and thoroughly explained and educated me on my septic system of which I had to no prior experience, he is extremely knowledgeable with many years experience. He showed me everything he had to do and fixed a major issue on the fly, he saved the day! I will be booking this company and Shaun again to follow up on more repairs, in a way I’m happy this happened because now I have someone to turn to should more issues come up.

Michael [Zizzo] is a wonderful, patient, knowledgeable individual who has been incredibly helpful throughout the process of replacing our heating system. We are third-generation clients; our parents and grandparents were always satisfied with the work performed and we are as well! Thank you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great experience with Ken with Ben Franklin Plumbing. We called earlier the same day Ken came to our house promptly. He was incredibly kind, respectful, and professional throughout the whole visit. He explained everything clearly and charged a fair price with no surprises. It’s so reassuring to find someone honest and reliable. We’ll definitely call again if we need help in the future!

Donna Palmieri

Technician was super on time, assessed the issue as to why hot water was not coming out of shower. Gave us the price and had the replacement part on the truck. He wore booties, was considerate to clean up and wipe down the shower and caulked up the shower area! PJ Johnston thank you for the expert service - a seasoned professional. Service was quick and well done. Happy shower time now!

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Pleasantville water heater?

To keep your water heater running smoothly in Pleasantville, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.

How do I know if I need a Pleasantville plumber for my home's low water pressure?

If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your Pleasantville home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in Pleasantville to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.

We work built relationships with several lenders to ensure our customers are able to restore functionality in their homes. Ask your technician about your financing options.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Pleasantville home?

Yes! Upgrading to low-flow toilets, water-saving showerheads, and high-efficiency faucets can significantly reduce water use in your Pleasantville home. You can also install smart leak detectors and tankless water heaters for added efficiency. A local plumber can recommend the best options based on your home’s setup and water usage habits.

What are common plumbing issues in older Pleasantville homes?

Older homes in Pleasantville often face plumbing issues like corroded or outdated pipes, low water pressure, and frequent leaks. You might also encounter problems with old fixtures, sewer line deterioration, or poor drainage. A professional inspection can help identify hidden issues and recommend upgrades to keep your plumbing system safe and efficient.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Pleasantville?

To get your plumbing ready for winter in Pleasantville, start by insulating exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like basements and garages. Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines, and check your water heater for optimal performance. It’s also smart to know where your main shut-off valve is in case of a frozen pipe emergency.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Pleasantville?

Signs of a damaged sewer line in your NJ home include frequent drain clogs, foul odors, soggy spots in your yard, and gurgling sounds from your toilets or drains.
