Greetings all! I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff, from Benjamin and Franklin plumbing and heating, this service guy is very professional, knows his work, also answers questions and trouble shoots the situation, which in my case being the hot water heater, was leaking and hissing, gave me an estimate, told me his professional opinion on the matter, I was very confident to allow Jeff to proceed with the job. However unfortunately I had paid in full for a hot water heater, of which the service man from another company ghosted me leaving me in a position of not only anger, but seriously questioning what I should do with the spot I was in. After two days of ignoring my text and voicemail, I decided to move on, then on Saturday evening, the guy shows up with the hot water heater, planning on putting it in, I told him, not tonight, no way, that I found someone else, he seemed sorry for the negative experience I was experiencing. Said he lost his work phone. So, he said I'll be back Monday morning to install the water heater, I figured since it's paid for and it's here, I'll see if this comes to completion! If you need anyone for plumbing and heating, I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin, they are local, reasonable and accommodating. The girls at this business are super understanding, a pleasure to speak to, not like the answering service, that many companies have. Bethany and Monica, I've spoken to both ladies, just so very personable and wonderful for the business, they understand and waste no time hoping on getting a same day service for your needs. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing yesterday and spoke with Monica. She is probably one of the kindest CSRs I have ever encountered. She even asked me “How can I make you smile today?” WOW! My technician was Jeff (they even sent me a picture of him) and he was great about explaining everything and made sure I understood what was to be done! He worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. I had a great experience and would gladly recommend them to others. No one likes the price, but I would remind all Seniors to ask for the Senior discount!! Good job, Benjamin Franklin!!
Called Benjamin Franklin this morning at 8am. Monica was able to have a technician call to my house within the hour. Scott was fantastic! He removed my old hot water heater and installed the new one. The install wasn’t a walk in the park but he got it done! Thank you Scott and the Benjamin Franklin team.
The Technician Austin was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job. The only negative thing I could say. Is the price $$ I had to pay for the service. Also, they don’t repair the sheet rock in the wall. I will need to have someone repair it. I did have same day service which was a plus.
We initially called with what we thought was a simple concern about water hammer with pipes in the attic and also to have the hot water heater checked. Scott came out to troubleshoot the issue and discovered several underlying issues that the original plumber (not Benjamin Franklin) left behind during the 2020 water heater install. Scott was very transparent with options available and ultimately we decided to have him install a new hot water heater. He was very professional while working his rear end off to drain/remove the old water heater from the attic, fix the piping issues and install a new water heater. He answered any questions we had along the way and we really appreciate his hard work, detail-orientation and friendliness throughout the process.
