We own a rental property and were thrown into a nightmare situation due to the mistake of our local gas company! They were not helping us at ALL! I asked for referrals online and someone suggested Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. My husband and I do not trust easily to put it mildly! I called and somewhat explained what was going on and they were able to get someone out faster than I expected. Man, did that poor technician pull the short straw! Jesse Hunter responded out to what he was told was a simple gas pressure test. He didn't leave for 2 weeks. I won't even get in to everything this job turned in to because I truly do not want to take away from the absolute professionalism, knowledgeable, devoted dedication that Jesse put in to this job every single day. I am pretty sure he was there longer than he was supposed to be most days and likely on days they may not have known he was there. He was doing the work of 3 or 4 people all by himself with absolute perfection. Mind you, this wasn't just a job. He had to do all of this and then the inspector had to come check it over and critique everything or we wouldn't have gas! Talk about a pressure test!!! Every step that was taken, the plans changed. Nothing went the way it was supposed to (at no fault of his in any way) but he restructured, revised the plan and kept it moving. He kept me in the loop the entire time. I could probably rerun a gas line from the meter to the house, through an attic to the utility room about 6 different ways now. LOL! He was patient with me while I cried through the disaster, the cost, the absolute nonsense of what created this mess in the first place. He respected our time, our home and our situation. I truly hope one day I am in a place that I can thank him appropriately. He absolutely deserves a raise, a bonus, a huge shoutout, pat on the back, 2 weeks vacation paid, or some sort of recognition from the company. I would be happy to speak to anyone about what an amazing job he did! Going above and beyond is barely hitting the surface to describe the effort he put towards our home. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts for everything that you did. It is beyond heartwarming to know that people like you really do still exist!
Great service and fast response time! Was able to diagnose and repair on the same day. Had all the parts in stock to replace a faulty sump pump ahead of a major storm. Install was seamless and Brayden did a fantastic job explaining how the new system works. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.
I wish I could give them 10 stars—five just isn’t enough! We had a sewage backup, and Troy came to our house like a hero. He installed a brand new hot water heater the same day we called, then walked us through a full estimate for all the plumbing work we needed. He gave us three different options at different price points and clearly explained what was absolutely necessary and why. Troy was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He completed the work efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. If you need a plumber in the Dayton area, this is who you should call. We highly recommend them!
Brandon and Ed were great! They were professional, knowledgeable,and friendly. They went above and beyond. If you need a great plumbing service give them a call. They worked hard for 2 days! We had a big order: install 2 toilets,a pedestal sink and the faucets, 3 faucets, new water heater, fixed clogged stationary tub,replaced main stack .. whew and they were very nice. It was such a help to us since we are older and can't do this work ourselves . Thanks again!!
