Best: Get comprehensive plumbing coverage with our Plumbing Repair & Maintenance + Water Heater Repair PLUS Plan. Get all the advantages of plumbing maintenance and repairs, plus the security of emergency repair coverage for your water heater. It even includes credit toward water heater replacement if necessary.
You can add even more protection with our External Water Line and Sewer & Septic Plans, which cover the water and sewer lines connecting your home to your water utility’s infrastructure. This can safeguard you against some of the costliest underground pipe repairs, as well as the landscaping repairs that come along with excavating these critical plumbing systems.

The Direct Energy Plumbing Essentials Plans ("Plan") are provided by Home Warranty of America, Inc., a Direct Energy company. We are Direct Energy's service partner in performing various services under the Plan, but if for any reason a Benjamin Franklin contractor is no longer available, Direct Energy will arrange for another qualified plumber to provide services under the Plan. Customers must sign up for 1-year commitment (the "Initial Term"). There is a 30-day waiting period before repair coverage begins. Upon expiration of the Initial Term, the Plan will automatically renew at the then current standard rate and terms unless the customer opts out of the auto-renewal option in writing by mail at P.O. Box 850, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sales tax will be added in select states.
