Giving Back, It's in Our Franchise DNA

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing van in front of a home

the minicucci brothers franchiseesSay hello to our Franchisees of the Month: brothers Andy (middle) and Steve Minicucci (right). With their Operations Manager, Felix Jimenez (left), they donated 15 turkeys, 15 hams, and several boxes of winter clothing to their food pantry in Andover, Connecticut.

The brothers grew up in the plumbing world, helping in the family business on nights, weekends, and college breaks. In 1998, the pair decided to start their own plumbing business. Their company grew so fast that they decided to become a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise in 2002.

In addition to donating to the food pantry, the Minicucci's have also helped Habitat for Humanity build 8 houses over the years. They outfit each home with plumbing, heating, piping, and carpentry, averaging about 100 hours in labor per house. Their company goal is to support even more worthy causes.

"Being a part of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing as a franchise partner gives us the independence of small business ownership with all the benefits and resources of a big business,” the brothers say. “We are looking forward to big things and further growth in 2020 and beyond."
