I cannot say enough wonderful things about the service I received! After being without gas, heat, and hot water for several days, I was dealing with an incredibly stressful and frustrating situation. Finding someone knowledgeable, dependable, and willing to help was such a relief. From start to finish, he was professional, courteous, and genuinely concerned about getting our gas service restored as quickly and safely as possible. His expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right were evident throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was that he treated our situation with the urgency and care it deserved. It’s not often you come across someone who combines exceptional workmanship with genuine concern for the people he’s helping. I am incredibly grateful and would recommend him without hesitation. If you’re looking for an honest, skilled, and reliable plumber who truly takes pride in his work, look no further. Five stars simply aren’t enough!

Hugo was awesome! Personable and knowledgable! Did an A+ job. Updated 9-9-26: a new week, a new issue, and another quick solve by Ben Franklin Plumbing. Leo got our toilet working ASAP and helped add preventive measures for the future. Great work Leo!

David Manzaneres was our plumber, and he did a fantastic job. We tried to remove the drain obstruction ourselves first using a 20-foot drum auger we bought at ACE Hardware, but we discovered we were out of our league. David brought in a plumber’s camera (like for a colonoscopy!) and was able to visualize the inside of the drain pipe He then went in with an industrial grade auger and removed the obstruction. David gets results!

This was our first experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and it was an excellent one! Master Plumber Ilija Kostadinov arrived right on time, was friendly from the moment he walked in, and even passed the pet test—our animals liked him immediately, and he was completely comfortable having them around. Ilija thoroughly inspected our faucets, valves, and pipes, then clearly explained what needed attention, why the repairs were recommended, and what our options were. When I mentioned an additional toilet issue, he had no problem jumping right in and taking care of it. Ilija will be returning to review his recommendations with us and has been incredibly accommodating while working around our complicated schedules. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and easy to trust. We would give Ilija a 5-plus-star rating without hesitation. We highly recommend working with Ilija Kostadinov—a true professional!

We had our water heater go out late a Sunday Afternoon. My husband called Ben Franklin plumbing as we are members and they weren’t going to be able to come check it until Thursday morning. My husband checked again on Monday morning and thankfully Ilija took our appointment! He came over checked our water heater and told us it had to be replaced which we had fully expected. He was amazing in giving me multiple options and explaining all of the different water heater types and what would be involved. When I picked an option he immediately got on the phone calling his team to help him complete the installation. Dillon came over a short while later to start taking everything apart and setting up for the installation. The two had everything completed in a span of 5 hours! We are beyond happy with their work, professionalism and kindness! Highly recommend these guys!

Plumbing FAQs

What routine maintenance should I be doing for my Denver water heater?

To keep your water heater working reliably, flush the tank about once a year, watch for leaks or rust, and make sure the temperature is set to a safe level, often around 120 degrees. Denver-area homes can deal with mineral buildup, so regular maintenance can help reduce sediment, protect efficiency, and keep hot water flowing consistently. A plumber can also inspect the pressure relief valve, connections, and overall condition of the unit.

How do I know if I need a Denver plumber for my home's low water pressure?

You may need a plumber if low water pressure happens suddenly, affects multiple fixtures, or does not improve after cleaning faucet aerators and showerheads. Low pressure can be caused by clogged pipes, hidden leaks, valve problems, aging plumbing, or an issue with the main water line. A licensed plumber can test the system and identify the cause before the problem gets worse.

Do you offer emergency plumbing service in Denver?

Yes. Emergency plumbing service is available 24/7 for urgent issues that cannot wait, including burst pipes, major leaks, sewer backups, overflowing toilets, drain clogs, and water heater problems. If water is actively damaging your home, shut off the water if you can do so safely, then call for service right away.

How often should I schedule drain cleaning for my Denver property?

Many homes benefit from professional drain cleaning about once a year, especially if slow drains, odors, or recurring clogs are common. Properties with older pipes, large trees nearby, or repeated kitchen and bathroom drain issues may need service more often. Routine drain cleaning can help reduce buildup and lower the risk of unexpected backups.

Do you offer plumbing financing in Denver?

Yes. Financing options may be available for larger plumbing repairs, replacements, installations, or upgrades. This can be helpful if your home needs a water heater, sewer repair, repiping, water treatment system, or another project that you would rather not pay for all at once. Ask your technician about available financing options before work begins.

Are there plumbing upgrades that can help conserve water in my Denver home?

Yes. Water-saving upgrades can include low-flow toilets, efficient showerheads, updated faucets, leak repairs, smart leak detectors, and newer water heaters. If your water bill has increased, a plumber can also check for running toilets, hidden leaks, dripping fixtures, or outdated plumbing components that may be wasting water.

What are common plumbing issues in older Denver homes?

Older Denver homes may have corroded pipes, aging fixtures, low water pressure, recurring leaks, slow drains, sewer line deterioration, or plumbing that was not designed for today’s household demand. A plumbing inspection can help determine whether the issue is isolated to one fixture or connected to older piping, drainage, or water line problems.

What should I do to prepare my plumbing for winter in Denver?

Before winter, disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior water lines if available, insulate exposed pipes in basements, garages, crawl spaces, and other unheated areas, and make sure you know where the main water shutoff valve is. It is also a good time to check your water heater and schedule plumbing service if you have pipes that have frozen or leaked in past winters.

How can I tell if my sewer line is damaged in Denver?

Signs of a damaged sewer line can include frequent drain clogs, gurgling toilets, sewage odors, slow drains throughout the home, wastewater backups, or soggy areas in the yard. If multiple fixtures are draining slowly at the same time, the issue may be deeper in the sewer line. A plumber can inspect the line and determine whether cleaning, repair, or replacement is needed.
